Q: Hi, will the ipurifier negatively effect ethernet over the powerline? i use devolo dlan to provide ethernet via powerline. thanks.

It reduces all high MHz noise from the line, so yes it will probably reduce the signal

Q: Does this filter use MOVs?

Just check out the ifi site as I did, it doesn’t say it has MOVs but they show the circuit board and it appears to use them in order to stop over voltage situations. This unit is much more sophisticated than a mere passive filter. It really does work and I can easily hear the effect in my high resolution audio systems. Hope that helped.

Q: Will this do anything if it is plugged into a line conditioner, like a Panamax or Furman?

Absolutely. I have one plugged into my PS Audio P10 AC regenerator and it absolutely makes a discernible difference for the better. It is an active noise filter capable of attenuating noise in its active bandwidth by up to 40dB.
