Cheese Slicer & Cheese Cutter Stainless Steel Cheese Slicers with Wire | Cheese Cutter Wire & Butter Slicer

So, my rating is based on how I am using this cheese slicer in my pasta making, so your mileage may vary if you're using it to cut really hard cheeses which are obviously different than soft pasta. For my purposes though, this tool is great for cutting pasta off the extruder die. It fits nicely between the handles on my pasta machine and cuts cleanly. It's light and easy to handle and clean. The wire seems to be secured well between the "arms" of the cutter, but as I stated, cutting soft pasta is going to be pretty different than cutting hard cheese so I can't speak to how well this will hold up, or how well the wire will stay put, when cutting hard cheese.

Seems well made. Cuts the cheese. Not much else to say about it.

Slices the cheese, but wire seems to loosen quickly.

You'd think that it would work, the way it is and the way it's presented. That is not the case. The wire bows inward, preventing the cheese from slicing all the way through. A knife would be more efficient. This tool causes more problems than it solves. I'm outside the return window so I'll probably just throw it away.

I've been using this slicer for a couple months now. I find it's very well designed and made of the proper materials. It's well suited to slicing harder cheeses that tend to crumble when sliced with a knife. This slicer eliminates that crumbling.

This works exactly as you would expect it’s a little larger than I thought, but that’s my fault for not looking at the description, but it works no problem.
