Make sure you get the correct part for your vacuum. This wand was supposed to fit my vacuum, the Powerdetect but it did not. I contacted Shark and they told me Amazon sent the wrong part for my model. I am returning it. Great customer service from Shark and a great vacuum too.

The tool allows the user to vacuum under dressers, end tables, behind couches and under beds and chairs, without having to bend over too much. Shark should drop the price a bit, but this is an awfully handy unit.Short extension is helpful in reaching farther (like under beds). This tool does fit our Stratos perfectly.Side Bar:Shark should also include a brush attachment, smh.Four Stars is due to cost of Shark Accessories, otherwise I'd give Five Stars.

I recently purchased the Shark Under Appliance Wand attachment hoping it would finally help me clean those hard-to-reach areas under my appliances. Unfortunately, this accessory turned out to be a huge disappointment for my Shark Apex Duo Powered Lift-Away AZ1002 vacuum. My vacuum uses locking attachments, but this wand relies solely on a friction fit. As a result, it never truly “clicks” into place and pops off the extension arm whenever I move it even slightly too aggressively. It’s beyond frustrating, especially since I’ve spent years trying to find the right tool for this particular model.To make matters worse, I’ve now ended up with three of these attachments—each one just as incompatible as the last. Since they don’t lock in, I’m left with the same problem no matter how many I try. The wand can work decently if you’re extremely gentle, but who has time to tiptoe around when vacuuming? Cleaning should be quick and efficient, not a balancing act.I plan to call Shark tomorrow to see if they have a proper under-appliance attachment that locks in like all my other accessories. If that fails, I’m seriously considering 3D-printing something to make it fit securely. Until then, I’m stuck with these friction-fit wands that simply aren’t designed for the AZ1002 model.Bottom line: If you own the Shark Apex Duo Powered Lift-Away AZ1002 and need an under-appliance cleaning tool, do not buy this wand. It’s just not compatible, and you’ll end up wasting time, money, and patience.

First off, the seller is awesome!!! My item shipped the same day I ordered it! It arrrived 11 days early!!! As for the shark under appliance wand is amazing! I used it under my stove and it picked up everything! I used it also under my couch, bed, armoire, and dresser…it picked up everything especially pet hair!! I highly recommend!!!

Although the idea of the wand is a good idea, the thickness of the wand plus the limited suction surface makes the wand ineffective. It doesn't fit under large pieces of furniture and there is not enough suction area to make the wand be an effective tool.

Works fantastically fits on my shark and also it fits on my LG Cordless vacuum, which is a big plus.
