It holds heat perfectly (the level depends on your dryer obviously). Definitely worth the money investment. It’s pretty lightweight, it does inflate pretty big but necessary for longer/thicker hair. It fits around the head like a scarf/bonnet (with an adjustable cord to tighten it).

I love this dryer cap. Bought for my short locs and it works really well. I've seen other comments saying it doesn't dry well but maybe a blowdryer that is strong enough is needed. My hair dryer is powerful and my hair is fully dried each time I use the cap with it in about 45min-1hr. Its made drying my hair so much more comfortable. It's convenient and compact to carry while traveling.

Everything came as described. It has a draw string to tighten the tube around the hair dryer, which helped with the fit. I have mid back length, medium sized locs, and it took roughly 2 1/2 to 3 hrs to fully dry my hair.Once you secure your hair in the bonnet you will have to tighten it a lot to keep it in place with the dryer on high. If you’re like me and can’t have things too tight on your head you’ll either have to dry your hair on a low or medium setting or hold it in place.I did try the dryer on high for at a least an hour just to test how hot the bonnet would get and it never felt uncomfortable or burned me.This would be very easy to travel with as it doesn’t take up much space in luggage. It most likely wouldn’t work well with small hotel hair dryers though so I would recommend taking your own just in case.Overall, if you have the time to wait for your hair to dry I say go for it. It still will dry your hair quicker than air drying alone, especially for locs. Loose natural hair or straight hair will do well with this bonnet.

Have had a few months. This is the best one yet. With locs, I needed an extra long dryer bag bonnet, and this works really well. Some of the others I’ve tried have had leaks or hotspots, but this is even!
