Just got done installing the new screen on my 2018 jeep Grand Cherokee trailhawk. It took me about 45 minutes after watching a couple YouTube videos yesterday. It looks awesome and no more phantom touches!I was worried it wouldn’t have the heated/vented seat buttons and when I turned it on the first time they didn’t show up. I restarted my car and then they were there! I don’t have the issue some others have with the screen shifted to the left. It’s perfectly centered. It also seems like a higher quality than the original. This is for sure the best way to go if you are having the phantom touch issue.

I’ve had this try for a couple months now initially it was fine. I installed it in summer when I wasn’t getting too hot or too cold as soon as temperatures rose up and I got too hot in the car I would come and start the car and have the backlight come on, but the screen was not visible, although you could still touch buttons Now it’s becoming colder out. I’m having the same issue so every morning I have to guess what my temperature controls are because they seem to reset when this happens then later on in the afternoon when it warms up, I’m able to use my radio again never had this issue with the original one, but I did have the glue issue with that one which prompted the change

Ram 1500 touchscreen radio was suffering from delamination. Had bubbling and not working correctly. No recall on it so I purchased this screen and swapped it out today. Looks perfect compared to the old one. See pics I’ve attached. Only been a few hours and it’s working and looking great. Saved money doing it this way.

Took it out of the box looked great. Watched videos as it said to do and installed it to find out the screen is just black.The screen itself has power and works but the image is not displaying at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled again just to make sure but still just a black image less screen.
