No Foam - Anti-Foam Quart, Defoamer for Spray Tanks, Eliminate Unwanted Foaming in Gallon Hand Sprayers, Recirculating Sprayers and Other Highly Agitated Solutions

Eliminates foam during acidic bottling We bottle cleaning solutions with pH levels between 2.5 and 4.0, and foam was causing major slowdowns until we started using this No Foam defoamer. Just half an ounce per 50 gallon batch completely eliminates the foam that forms during our filling process. The quart bottle has lasted us over four months of regular production. The key is adding it before agitation starts. We mix it into the base solution first, then add our acidic components. This prevents foam from forming rather than trying to knock it down afterward. When filling bottles with our peristaltic pump system, the product flows smoothly without any foam buildup that used to cause overflows and messy cleanup. The application rate is extremely economical. The label recommends 1 to 2 ounces per 100 gallons for standard solutions, and up to 4 ounces for highly agitated mixtures. We've found that 1 ounce per 100 gallons works perfectly for our acidic products. At that dilution rate, this quart treats roughly 3,200 gallons of product, making the cost per gallon negligible. We tested it alongside a competitor defoamer that required double the dosage to achieve similar results. The silicone and surfactant blend in No Foam breaks down foam bubbles quickly without leaving any residue or affecting our product chemistry. Our pH readings and active ingredient concentrations remain unchanged after adding the defoamer. The bottle is basic plastic with a simple screw cap. We transferred some into a smaller squeeze bottle with measurement markings for easier dosing during production. The product itself is a clear to slightly cloudy liquid that mixes readily without requiring extended stirring. During bottling runs, we process around 400 bottles per shift. Before using this defoamer, foam would build up in our filling reservoir every 50 to 75 bottles, forcing us to stop and wait for it to settle. Now we run continuously through entire batches without interruption. This has cut our bottling time by roughly 30 percent. One thing to note is this works best for liquid products. We don't use it with thicker formulations or products containing suspended particles. For standard liquid chemicals, detergents, and acidic solutions like ours, it performs exactly as needed. The defoamer doesn't interfere with product performance or stability even in low pH environments. Compared to industrial defoamers from chemical supply companies that cost three times as much, this delivers identical results for small to medium production volumes. After four months of daily use, we've had zero quality issues or customer complaints related to the defoamer.

Gets rid of most of the foam if using surfactant.A must if doing multiple sprayer loads.

The product is great. I received it with out the cover being on. The plastic cover saved the product from leaking.

I spray many yards in my business, and have used many different defoaming agents but this is without a doubt the best defoamer I have ever used. I will definitely buy again and highly recommend to anyone who uses defoamers.

Even though you use a very small amount of this in a 3 gallon sprayer, the difference is striking. For years I have suffered through being very careful when mixing liquids in my sprayer; no matter what I always got several inches of foam. I learned to spray a limited quantity of water in the mouth of the sprayer to keep the foam inside the tank, but it was still messy. Now I just add this to the first two quarts of water and never see foam regardless of how vigorously I fill the tank. All that wasted time and stress dealing with foam now seem so absurd. At four ounces per 100 gallons of a mixture, a quart of this stuff lasts a long time.

First bottle worked, formulation was completely different on the bottles ordered the second time. Added an entire bottle to a 800 gallon spray tank and it wouldn't cut the foam. Went to chemical supplier and got a bottle of foam buster and it immediately worked.

Good stuff. Can't order it directly from the company as they don't deliver to Canada. Too bad as it's half the price if your get it from them.
