Good, but read this if you're tall.
The Good:They work really well and seem to be well made. Much better than traditional crutches for long term use.The "need to knows":These are advertised to fit people up to 6'6" - I'm 6'4" and they are just a tiny bit small for me. Dont see them working well with anyone any taller. They are heavy. You have to keep an eye on the "set screw" that secures the handrests. It gets loose fairly easily. I added some loctite to mine. The fabric pads are just dumb. They feel like something someone in marketing made the product team add. They are easily removed however.Overall, happy with the purchase.

Most Notable Crutches By Ppl and Ergonomic
I’m 6’2”, 270 pounds and this supports me as well.Everyone always asked where do I get these crutches from because everyone really likes the look and feel. They are also very slim and compact if needed because every component is button snap together but still rigid.Worth the price you pay for And something you would keep forever.

Amazing equipment
I have been on crutches numerous times for various injuries/surgeries. The uses of crutches is always very unpleasant and difficult. Most recently I tore my ACL. As before I began using the standard crutches that I had armed with all of the padding that I could find to be reasonable and practical. I ran across this product and decided to give it a try since I will once again be on crutches for an extended period. I have only had them for a few days but all I can say is that when compared to standard crutches they are truly amazing! They are quite and the effort to walk around is so much less than on the standard design. The normal pain that comes with walking on standard crutches is virtually eliminated. I purchased the carbon fiber design. The quality seems excellent and are very sturdy. All early indications is that they will be durable as well. I highly recommend and a very justifiable investment.

Life Saver
I am non weight bearing for several months due to a leg lengthening surgery. The hospital sent me home with the cheapest crutches known to man, even knowing how long I'd be non weight bearing. So we bought these.Pros:They are not the ridiculous cheap, crappy crutches. These have shock absorbers! They have wide feet which grip easily.Cons:The cushions on the arms are kind of a joke. They have a mesh that just tears up your arms if you are earing short sleeves. I took them off and used towels. The handle grips are attached with a screw that loosens ALL THE TIME. I think this is the number one complaint people give about these falling apart. It has a turn knob for the screw. Just tighten it when you feel the handle loosening. Don't wait until it falls apart.Long story short, it has it problems, but it's SO much better than the cheap crutches provided by the hospital! And they have shock absorbers...

Comfortable
My son had to be on crutches for a couple of months and these were great! Traditional crutches gave him blisters instantly, but not these! He’s a big 6’5” kid, and these fit him. He has big hands and other crutches gave him blisters within an hour on his palms and wrist, but these ones actually fit his hands. They are a little heavy, but ergonomically were 1000% better!! Well worth the money!

Fell Apart 2 days after the return period
The crutches do have shock absorbers and the carbon fiber ones that I ordered are lightweight. The upper pads are nice and cushy, unlike the standard crutches, which are just hard rubber. In use, I am not sure these are any more efficient or easier to use than standard crutches. I have started to think that the shock absorbers, while nice, do take away some of the momentum you can get when walking a distance in a straight line. Thus causing more effort over a long stretch. However, I will say that the pain in my armpits from using them is not there, which is a win.The downside to these crutches is 2 days after the return period the handle broke on the left crutch. There is a side screw next to the handle on the casing itself that appears, has no way to "set" and when I screw it back in, it just spins. This is not the larger hand tightening screw on the opposite side of the frame from the handle. That does come loose on its own frequently and you just need to remember to hand tighten when you grab your crutches or the handle will droop to other positions. This screw does something to keep the handle in place, and now my handle droops awkwardly when pressure is applied and feels like it will come apart. Also, I took the crutches apart via the quick takedown pin for the second time and the shoelace inside the crutch was undone, so there is nothing holding the two pieces together. This is fine and not that big of a deal, but also shows the longevity of the function of the product.I called the seller and will update if I hear back to get the crutch fixed. But, this failure basically leaves that crutch questionable as I cannot really trust it. I have 2 more weeks on crutches and will just have to buy another pair of normal crutches to finish my recovery.
