Works way better than wifi bulbs!
Works way better - as in all the time and no dimming randomly for a few seconds - than the same company's wifi bulbs.Having a switch is also really sweet, and this is something that seems not to be possible with wifi bulbs.Wish I knew about the difference in BLE vs WiFi sooner. Also I don't know why the app gets such a mid rating on the play store. It seems perfectly functional and even has some cute features like a music player that controls the lights in response to the music. Also works well with Alexa and Google Home. I've found it works more consistently with Google Home - sometimes I need to ask Alexa twice. I am pretty sure this is Amazon's fault, not Broadlink's.

Installation very confusing.
Scanning their symbols for the proper app gives you are error message?? My buttons would light but not blink!! Couldn't pair. Tried Tuya,Smartlife and Alexa.....none would work.....contacted tech support, no reply??? What's wrong with this picture??

Works Fine
I bought some cheap Tuya lightbulbs elsewhere and didn't realize they were Bluetooth (BLE) only, all my others are WiFi as I like to use them with Alexa and IFTTT. Did some searching and realized I needed a hub like this, so bought it to try. Was cheap enough that even if it didn't solve my problem it wouldn't be a huge deal. Well, plugged it in and added it to my SmartLife app. That was it, bulbs can now be controlled with things other than just my iPhone, most importantly I can now use my Echo Dots. It's really small, quite comparable to a USB flash drive. My devices aren't particularly close to where I plugged it in but that doesn't seem to matter. It doesn't come with a power adapter (at least not that I recall), but I just plugged it into a crappy USB wall adapter without any problems.

Connection Issues
I got this bulb to use with my alexa devices, but it won't connect. The broadlink app doesn't work well either. If I'm not near enough to the bulb, the app won't change it's settings.

Instructions unclear for remote.
The remote instructions say hold 123 on to pair and picture shows all three buttons being pressed. To pair power cycle lights and hold the remote on button of only one group button. Lights will flash when successfully paired.Works great after that!

Bulbs randomly failing
I purchased 3 kits as these were the most cost effective bulbs on the market that came with a wireless switch. However there are two issues with these first one is mostly my fault for assuming but these do not support home assistant so if you were looking to integrate the scene selector and bulbs into home assistant they are useless. Second biggest issue couple of the bulbs have started to randomly die bulbs turn on on their own then flicker nonstop. the price is cheap you get cheaply made I think should have went with the tplink bulbs instead.

Trouble connecting the hub and bulbs to wifi
I haven’t been able to successfully link my bulbs or hub to wifi so the only function I have is turning my light switch on and off if anyone or the seller has any advice on trouble shooting these issues it would be greatly appreciated

What you see works well.
What you get in the box works great together, and the switch still controls the lights even if your network is down. It's when you want to expand or interact with the rest of your other smart home you have to pay careful attention. This product sends scene change "triggers" to Alexa so you can run routines to control other devices when you use the scene switch buttons, but does not have these triggers in Google Home. This switch only controls FastCon *BLE* devices (which appears to be just these light bulbs), but not "plain" FastCon devices such as their smart plugs - you lose the "internet independence" without BLE. You need a different app between plain and BLE FastCon devices. So, if you have dreams of expanding beyond these switch and light bulb models it may be tricky to integrate and interoperate with these.
