Feature rich, affordable, great performance on ANC, microphones, and sound quality
I purchased this set of headphones based on the affordable price, features I read about, and 1Mii's reputation, having bought and used two of their Bluetooth adapters in the past and been very pleased with them. My point of comparison is my Sony WH-1000XM2 noise-cancelling headphones (2017 model, no longer produced). The successor Sony model, WH-1000XM5, is around $400. So, if you don't want to spend that much, how close does the Ankbit E500 Pro come to the Sony? The short answer is, the E500 Pro is very very close, or even better!First, physically, these are very lightweight headphones which helps a lot with fit and comfort. The earcups swivel and fold (similar to the older Sony XM2 model, but apparently this feature is missing in the XM5 model). This makes the headphones more compact, smaller, and more portable. The padding along the headband and ear cushions is good. Controls are on the right-hand side; the buttons are clicky which is what I like since you get immediate feedback that you have pressed them. The headphones come in a pouch (vs. a hard case for the Sony), as well as a USB-C to 3.5mm audio cable for wired use of the headphones (vs. the standard wireless mode via Bluetooth or NFC).Battery life is stated to be 60 hours with noise cancelling off and 35 hours with noise cancelling on - just be aware that these figures will change depending on how long you use the pair with active noise cancellation enabled, or use them in transparency mode, or have it on high volume all the time. Battery life is exceptional and better than my Sony. The headphones also support fast charging (ten minutes plugged in from 'dead' gives you four hours of play time). Full fast charge from 'dead' takes 1.5 hours. The headphones support a 'gaming' mode which, as best as I can determine, simply does better audio video synchronization in games or videos and reduces latency. It works. In terms of sound quality, it's very clean with solid mids and highs, and very comparable to the much more expensive Sony headphones I have. The Sony does have a phone app which lets you tweak equalizer settings for finer control over audio; this unit does not come with an app but you can just use your music app's equalizer settings (for example, Spotify has this feature and I think other apps do too). The noise cancellation works very well too; comparable to the XM2, maybe the XM2 is a bit better. But you cannot buy the XM2 now and the current XM5 model, even if it does better in noise cancellation, is five times the price of the Ankbit! The transparency mode works really well and very natural with no white noise or digital artifacts, letting you take in ambient sounds. Finally, the four built-in microphones work exceptionally well both in quiet and noise environments. This is very useful in a home office environment if you have normal street noise (cars, people). I have made multiple calls with them and the audio quality reported has been great.Overall, for the price and for the features these are a great pair of headphones. Another win for 1Mii! Highly recommended.

Good sound quality and value for the price
I have been using these headphones for about a week now for listening to music and watching tv (connected to a MII Blutooth transmitter/receiver). Overall, very happy with the purchase and feel they are a good value for the price.Easy to connect via Bluetooth. Quickly connected to my phone and also my MII Bluetooth Transmitter within a few seconds which is connected to my Samsung Q80 TV. No issues at all connecting and re-connecting.Size and Comfortable: Size is perfect, not to bulky but big enough to fit perfectly on most size heads/ears. Love that they are not heavy as well so can wear them without any discomfort. Ear pieces are made of a memory foam material that fits over your ears so they don’t press on the ear making them comfortable to wear for hours.Great sound quality with good highs, mids, and Bass. Watching Tv was prefect with great sound quality. Was not as good as my Beats Studios but these of course were much cheaper so I was not expecting them to be the same. Music also sounds great with clear sound quality. No issues with lag in latency at all.Great battery life. Used for about 8 hours so far and battery is still going strong.Only negative is that I would with the highs were a little better but I am spoiled a bit with my beats. Not a big issue but don’t expect Bose or Beats clarity (but still great sound quality). This is certainly not a deal breaker though.Overall very happy with the headphones and have been using them pretty regularly. For the price overall a great value.

Ankbit hybrid ANC Bluetooth over ear headphones
I absolutely loved these! Yes, you read that right, past tense. I've been searching for over 2 years for a replacement comparable to my old mpow h5's with no luck. Then I bought these, black Friday deal. I received them, charged them and started testing them out. I was so excited to finally find another great headset! The sound quality was amazing, highs, lows and mids with decent bass as well as phone calls being so crystal clear without people on the other end able to hear any background noise! The active noise canceling was excellent and battery life as well. I loved them so much, I purchased a second set for my mom for Christmas. Day 2 of use I started getting a fuzzy static noise in the right side. I tried troubleshooting and figured out that I could turn the ANC off and back on and it quits. But just when I least expect it, there that awful static is again. I wanted to cry. I knew another set was on it's way so I waited to try those (my mom's). Within minutes of the first use of the 2nd set, I was experiencing the same problem. This can't be only 2 defective headphones I received within a few days. This must be a manufacturing defect. I have to send these back. Both sets. Now I don't have headphones for myself or my mom for Christmas. I'm so beyond disappointed, they were so good before the awful static. I can't recommend this product. I'm returning them. Honestly can't believe the original price these were listed as. Updated to add and make clear: This review is for both sets I ordered since I am unable to write separate reviews for each set. Since writing the initial review, my mom's set (which already had the static problem) started screeching like there's some sort of horrific feedback and I have been unable to figure out what's causing it. I was contacted by the seller and given a refund for the first set I purchased since they didn't want me to send the headphones back but I'm still waiting to hear back in regards to the second set I purchased for my mom. I'm returning them and dealing only with Amazon through the return process from here on out. I really wanted these to work out and I'm so disappointed they didn't. Updated to add that customer service was wonderful with the experiment and helped me out greatly.

ANC not working
Unfortunately there was no difference to ambient noise when these were powered off compared to powered on with ANC on. Clearly any noise reduction came from the physical presence rather than anything 'active' about it. Returned - disappointed.
