What! You can't remove the Watermark.
Unfortunately you can not turn off the obscuring FLIR logo watermark on images or video.Customer service said it was for copyright ? What, So they own my images ? They then recommended another 3rd party app that did not save the logo but it only allows images and not video. So for a 400 squids pro version IR camera you can't remove there obscuring advertising logo great , back you go to Amazon for a refundo.

Can't remove watermark, needs charged
So, first, I bought this knowing the limitations - so it may seem a bit unfair. But for the price, even though cheap for a thermal camera, you should be able to remove the watermark! Imagine the outrage if a visible spectrum camera enforced a watermark on all images you took with it. That's at least one star off right there. The second one I took off because it needs charged (doesn't power from phone), and doesn't work with USB-C iOS devices like the iPad Pro. The software isn't amazing either - for one, automatic alignment of the visual and thermal images would be a very nice touch! You need to manually align them.As for the actual camera quality - meh, it's super low resolution and not the most accurate thing. It's not meant to be and it's cheap. It works absolutely perfect for what I bought it for and can't complain for the price - it really is a bargain. Shame about that watermark.

Stop! Think again!
I bought this for two reasons. I wanted it for a close range spotter for shooting and also for general use around the house etc.The centre of all that is bad with this product is it's power source. This has an internal battery, but the processing power needed for their MSX technology and the thermal camera just cripples it. I would much prefer the camera took its power from the mobile like Seek's equivalent does because I can charge the phone quicker, it has a bigger battery, it's LiPo and it's designed for fluctuating high/low current draws so will provide an overall much better experience and a longer thermal camera use time.So what were my gripes?1. The unit arrived totally dead! The battery wouldn't charge. I persevered with the charging, using different power sources and I eventually for the battery woken up and it got a little charge in it. After eight hours!!2. The battery only ever charged to around 80%. It never got above that.3. The battery lasted about 12 minutes and you can see it depleting at a fast, steady pace.4. It DOES NOT work in most modern Androids because most modern droid phones don't support USB OTG (On The Go) connections without a special, additional OTG adaptor. Which is hard to find and a faff. Without this, your phone simply won't recognise a camera is attached and all you'll see are the attached screenshots. The MSX technology is great in outlining your image and I got some OK images but I absolutely hated this from the off.It really is a total waste of money - I had it for three days, tested it in multiple scenario's but sent it back.I'm a total geek but even I hated this device - it's simply disappointing and not worth the time I spent in it. Overall, it is a VERY, VERY, VERY bad product from FLIR. A friend has an earlier model and the image quality was better on his too. This needs to be recalled, reviewed, rebuild and re-released.Stop! Think again! Thoroughly read up in this before you even consider buying it. I literally spent more time charging it than using it. This 1 hour charge claim is rubbish. It's more like 3-4 to get any decent charge.

Video Framerate is slow on Android
I would not recommend this product if you plan to use the video functionality. The camera can achieve 9Hz, however it cannot record in 9Hz and you will see between 2-6Hz max. This is very disappointing. I have tried multiple phones such as the Pixel XL, Samsung S7 and OnePlus5T and all are seeing this issue.I've been going back and forth with FLIR support on the video framerate issue, today they have closed the support ticket telling me that the phones can't handle it.

FLIR One Pro Android USB - getting a working unit is a lottery !!
Just returning my REPLACEMENT (2nd) Flir One Pro - according to FLIR support both were defective. When I plugged it into the usb charger the orange light comes on, that's it. Will not switch on, have never seen the charging led on or the green light. Tried all the reset suggestions on the web. Returned it to Amazon, and immediately ordered another one.Just got the 'new' unit, exactly the same problem. Contacted FLIR, they said defective, return for a refund again. Not going to bother with a third one at this stage. Waiting for two refunds now.

Incredible piece of kit
Absolutely incredible piece of kit. We needed to work out why out underfloor heating wasn't working as two plumbing companies had let us down. Without this equipment we probably would have had to rip up a brand new floor. Easy to setup and use and amazing results. Really impressed that you can slide a picture to show the original overlaying the heat map image.

Quality images from a small piece of kit
So far I am very impressed with this product. I did my research before as it was an expensive purchase and I am glad I went with this one. I have used other thermal cameras in the past and have not been impressed but the quality of the images on this unit is very impressive. I think the stand out feature is the face it blends a actual picture with a thermal image so you keep the importance information like labeling on a fuse board. I am impressed by the accuracy of the temperature and the fact you can make changes to the image after the photo has been taken allowing you today choose the best colour setting or move the temperature point. It's expensive bit of kit but when you compare it to the equivalent spec camera it's actually quite cheap. For this kind of price you wouldn't be getting very good images.I have highy expect this will be getting lots of uses at work been an electrician both diagnosis of faults and when doing electrical safety checks and will make use stand out from the others not using this technology. Also a nice added point is the USB c connection is extendable so it fits on even with my large case something I was concerned about before purchasing.
