Item arrive just as described. I believe it will do what I need it to do. I purchased it to scare off aggressive approaching dogs. So far I have not had to use it. I do feel better with it out and ready though. It is small enough to comfortably fit and not so small it is going to be dropped. I would recommend it!

It was shocking how loud the burst of electircity sounded when I gave it a test fire. You wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of this stun pen. Doubtful anyone would want to continue bothering you if they got a 3 to 5 second blast of this little guy!

Let me tell you, this thing ain’t no ordinary pen. The popping sound alone could make a grown man reevaluate his life choices. I tested it on myself (don’t ask why), and I can confirm: it packs a hell of a bite. It’s like giving someone a high-voltage handshake from across the room. I’ll be honest here in case it helps that one person stay safe.HOW TO USE:2 buttons.A - button powers on the pen and prepares it for use as a flash light or taser. A single short press powers it on, as indicated by a blue light. Each subsequent press cycles it through the flashlight mode which include;- front facing flashlight (not so bright)- side, facing flashlight (very bright)- side, facing flashlight with strobe (very bright)B - button is strictly for taser. You press and hold it only when the pen is powered on (blue light). The taser emits a popping sound when activated.Also has a USB-C charge port and belt clip.HOW IT FEELS:The shock this produces is more like a sting localized to the area of impact. It even leaves a small welt, like a mosquito bite that keeps burning even later. Does it hurt a a lot? Yes!Can it disorientate you? Maybe. It would take a long press (3-5s) to inflict enough pain to cause pain related disorientation.FOR SELF DEFENSE:Only in some cases. For example, this will only go through thin pieces of clothing. It will not work through sweaters or jackets. Use it with caution because once they feel the initial shock, pushing through the subsequent attempts is possible. So get to safety immediately once you create that separation.OTHER USES:Breaking up fights or keeping creeps off you at bars. This pen easily breaks up a “situation”. It’s very non-lethal.

Wow I am extremely impressed with this pain pen. I actually got it to deter dogs away when walking my dog it is loud. I was carrying a larger one too heavy., I was concerned if this was loud enough. Oh yes it is light weight.Push on button and taser button is right in front of it. So in panic push on press button.I luv it.

Use as a self defense device. Test ok but hope I hope I don't have to use it, but I'm ready.

The pen is small, light but MIGHTY! Just the crackling noise alone would serve as a deterrent but if in danger, I’m confident in the pen’s ability to protect me.
