DeltaFaucet Ara 17 Series Dual-Function Shower Handle Valve Trim Kit with 3-Setting Integrated Diverter, Chrome T27867 (Valve Not Included)

All was good with Unit except one odd marking on it, that would/will be hard to see once installed. I have not installed and won't for a couple more months. I buy parts for a few months as I go so it is not such a beating all at once financially.Anyhow, dry assembled into Body Valve, and looked over the fit and finish and the only thing was on the Diverter Operational Handle-See Pic. Not sure if the Seller is selling refurbished (considering the good price) Delta let one out of the shop via lack of Q.C. I buy Delta due to the Lifetime warranty, the repair kits and the Finish. My last house had it through out and the Buyer's LOVED the fact that Delta through out. Chrome is really good and lasts even with the harshest conditions. Hence me wondering about the tiny marks aforementioned. I gave the unit 5* due to it is Delta, it is nice, all but that. I bought Delta shower arm flange and towel bars too, the stuff is quality.P.S if you buy the 22000 Body Valve WITHOUT the Screws (for plumbing changes down the road) You will get more pressure to your hand held, jets, etc. That and the 17 is the most water delivered. Find R22000 Spec PDF, it won't allow me to upload here.

I had ordered both a Moen valve and trim kit and the Delta. One in Satin and one polished The valves both seemed well made, but no comparing the trim kits. Moen was light weight with inexpensive foam sealing and Delta was a heavy weight with excellent weight and rubber sealing. CAUTION: This valve includes a 3 position diverter. The same valve body will also work with a 6 position diverter. Normally I would have installed the valve, but this remodel was done in our winter living condo and it is against the rules. The 3 or 6 position diverter trim kits have specific diverter valves. BUT, the KEY is the plumbing. If using the 3 position, you must cap off the diverter port on the RIGHT of the diverter body. Our plumber capped off the left since we were having a shower want mounted on a wall to the right. When we tested the 3 position, only 2 positions worked. Our wand would not operate as a stand alone. Fortunately, we were able to access the valve from the inside of a closet. The temperature control works fine, but the trim handle is plastic. Given the weight and finish of the rest of the valve, one wonders why Delta would use plastic on this.

Very happy with this product. It is one of the few shower controls that actually has the water power, water temperature, and water diverter all on the same piece of trim. It looks great and the price is one of the better deals with all that you get. I shopped around a lot, so I can say that confidently.This is just the trim so you will also need to buy the rough in valve R22000, but you will need to get that anyway with almost any other nice trim like this one.We installed this around waist height and now it can easily be reached when starting the shower without having to bend over and it can still be reached easily if you want to take a bath. The convenience is great.I definitely recommend this product.

Simply awesome. Love it so much., super Easy to install and very well made, better then another Delta model I bought 2 years ago, this one has extra rubber on the back and for sure will not let any water leak behind it :)

Delta brand faucets normally produces quality products and so far this one doesn’t disappoint. I got this trim with the valve package, hand spray assembly, wall elbow, and wall shower head which are all sold separately so be sure you know what components you need to complete your shower. We were refurbishing our entire shower so this was a good opportunity for me to upgrade our shower with more modern trim. If anything leaks, I’d expect it to have been either the plumber’s workmanship or the quality of our water affecting our pipes. If you’re re-doing your shower, you need to stick with one brand of valve assembly and trim kit (the handles) - after that you can mix components of different brands, i.e., brand X hand spray, brand Y shower head, etc., but I’d recommend staying with one brand for consistent fit and finish and Delta typically won’t disappoint.

Other than the often mentioned plastic temp control knob, it is quality and functionality at its best. The diverter supplies 2 taps and is easily set. The volume control is smooth. The temp control has a wide range of settings.....very easy to control water temperature. On top of all that, it looks terrific!I highly reccomend it.

Our plumber recommended the 3 valve to save space & look nicer with our separate hand held! Temperature control is awesome & looks beautiful!! Our favorite shower!!
