Works exactly like it's supposed to. Fits my 322 perfectly and puts out 30A. AC

I got this as an economical replacement vs paying super high prices from JD dealers and resellers. My defective one was putting out -2V and this new one put out 30v AC as it should. Highly recommend and its an easy swap.

The alternator was a perfect match for the original one on my JD 455 garden tractor/mower (circa 1999) with Yanmar diesel engine. The only difference was the housing on the original one was a powder coated metal housing while this one was a casted material. Bolt pattern, dimensions and wiring harness all was a perfect match. Have used now for 10 hours with no issues - everything seems to be working well. Will have to see how long it lasts. Fingers crossed.

I tried to get this part from another seller on Amazon and they could not get the part correct. I received an ATV starter motor and what appeared to be a window or wiper motor as a replacement for the first wrong part. I wanted to review this one because I got what I wanted the first time, quickly, and it worked as expected. Thanks guys, I can get back to mowing now.
