In 1892, Milton Florsheim began producing shoes in a small factory located in Chicago, Illinois. The first pairs of Florsheim shoes made by Milton and his father, Sigmund, were a remarkable combination of style, comfort and high quality workmanship. This tradition continues today with the Florsheim family's commitment to producing trend-right, high quality footwear. Florsheim shoes are always available in a wide range of sizes and widths.

I'm not impressed with these (black)
The shoes are not my most expensive shoe purchase, but for $130 I'm disappointed in the lack of comfort and quality. I know shoes need to be broken in, and these are not terrible, but I'm seriously not impressed with the cost vs comfort of the shoe. I was extremely excited when I ordered them and couldn't wait until they arrived. They are a bit harder than I thought they would be for the $$$, especially around the rim/collar area. Again, I know this will soften over time but the hardness is like less expensive dress shoes. I can see where some reviewers mentioned the shoe creasing or cracking. The pair I received you can tell that someone tried these and returned them. The top area is cracked pretty good without much wear; the soles look new so they were not worn much, but I believe the creasing will get much worse.I also purchased a pair of Guess Gulliver shoes at the same time I ordered these because I couldn't make up my mind as to which pair I wanted AND the Guess were only $49. However, based on the online photo I didn't think the Guess shoes are as dressy and have the shin that these Sabato's have, so I wanted these too. Anyway, I'm happy to say that the Guess are much more comfy out of the box and I will save $90 because I'm returning these. The Sabato's are slightly more dressy but I think that's partly due to the shine. I'll just need to get to work to put some shine on the Guess shoes.

Defective product not worth USD 129. These are factory defect products. Price should be no more than 40 to 50 dollars!!!
I have worked in the world's largest footwear manufacturing and distributing company for more than 10 years. I was quite surprised to buy a pair of shoes for 129 dollars with so many manufacturing defects. First of all the product rocks as the height between ballpoint and heel is either incorrect or perhaps during sole attachment and unllasting proper care wasn't taken by he machine operator. This discrepancy is sure to cause back pain. Second, I have noticed back height for left and right pair of shoes is not same. Third, the vamp is crooked due to improper toe lasting.THE MAJOR PROBLEM I HAVE OBSERVED IS UNDER THE SOLE WHERE STITCHES ARE MISSING. I WONDER HOW THIS Defective PAIR OF SHOES MANAGED TO EVADE EYES OF THE QUALITY CHECKERS.THE PRICE OF THIS KIND OF PAIR OF SHOES SHOULD NOT GO ABOVE 40 to 50 DOLLARS AS THESE ARE FACTORY DEFECT OR WHAT WE CALL IN FOOTWEAR INDUSTRY "FACTORY SECOND" AND MOSTLY EITHER WE DESTROY THEM OR SELL THEM FOR A DOLLAR OR TWO.WHILE I HAD BEEN UNIT CHIEF I HAD LADY'S BOOTS EACH COSTING MORE THAN 500 DOLLARS A PAIR WHICH DUE TO MINOR DEFECTS I SOLD FOR 40 TO 50 DOLLARS A PAIR! ACTUALLY AT THE END I BURIED MORE than 600 PAIRS AS BUYER REFUSED TO ACCEPT. REMAINING PAIRS. THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR ITALIAN CLIENTS! I hope you as a supplier of footwear understands how picky Italians are when it drops down to quality of shoes!I wish I could have uploaded video to show rocking of this shoe. When you buy shoes look for rocking. If pair of shoes rocks then you are very like to experience back pain! Very easy to find out if your pair of shoes rocks or not..... place your shoe on a plane flat surface then apply light force on the top back counter of the shoe. If it rocks then you will know that there is a defect in the pair of shoes which is going to cause back pain eventually.

Second pair of these; and that's a good thing.
I bought my first pair of these shoes 3 years ago. Once you get past the break-in stage (once they stop being so stiff they give you blisters) they're fabulous shoes. Gorgeous looking shoes, comfortable once worn in and fairly rugged for a dress shoe. I have gotten compliments on these shoes on many occasions. They look great and stay nice with a little bit of upkeep. The only reason I had to finally buy a new pair is that I walked through the soles on the first pair. I still can't find the strength to toss them in the can so I just plan on wearing them more.

Good buy! Works for us
Shoes look nice. Husband actually wears a 4e so we needed to get them stretched at shoe repair shop and they were fine! Otherwise I would say fit as expected. Soles wore out pretty fast but he is a big guy and walks alot. Worth the $$

... the few wide dress shoes available and they work great with orthodic inserts
One of the few wide dress shoes available and they work great with orthodic inserts. No tread on the bottom as most men’s dress shoes, but can be remedied by adding a patch to prevent slipping.

Ordered 12EEE size, but fits like a smaller size
The quality looks good, but sizing is wrong versus that it states. Have to return it now.

The soul of the shoe loses its color. Constantly I have to paint it black again with a sharpie. Kind of annoying

Beautiful but a bit large
Love the shoes, but Florsheim ultimately run kind of large. I bought these half a number down and they 're still a vit large. I have another model and are large too. The shoes are beautiful...really love them.

Color Zapato
Para la segunda vez que me había puesto los zapatos, el color de la punta ya se había despintado. De igual forma debería de haber un ancho de suela intermedio, ya que o es la pequeña o muy grande.
