Great stuff. It is an ointment, and not lotion, so expect it to be a bit thick. Hey, I didn't complain the rubbing is good for my arms and legs, feet and hands. I felt kind of refreshed. Actually, I did a lot of research on the ingredients in this before I bought it for my friend.. It took about maybe 30 or 40 minutes for it to soak in so I would not notice it by touch.I had never heard of this, until I saw it on Amazon, My friend really likes using it on her feet. Then her daughter in law bought me a jar for my Birthday. Everyone was impressed with it. I was very pleased.to get it.Keep in mind that I put in on very generously, so you might want to use it more sparingly. I just worked on the computer for an hour or so, and my arms still felt nice, but no longer like I had soaked them. I was in a bad car wreck a few years ago and both arms were damaged. So, my skin is a bit rough and has little scars. My feet and legs will probably need more time for healing, because they are closer to all the dust we get here. I go inspurts, with lotion, because it is kind of messy. This is not messy, and I do plan to use this regularly; If it helps my poor worn out tootsies, I will buy more. Enough said. I will try to remember to update this after a while, but I can usually tell. I have been washing my face for years with Dial and then after rinsing, using Vaseline on it, and I get a lot of compliments on my skin, which is actually very sensitive, so here we go .......

This protects the skin without feeling greasy. Men like to use it for that reason and because there isn't a scent. I like it because it lasts a long time and provides moisture and protection from the damage caused in the cold months.

For me, this "Aquaphilic Ointment" for dry skin by Medco Lab Inc., is the best ever for quickly moisturizing my very dry skin. This product is actually a heavy cream (similar to Noxzema but without the smell) not an ointment and is the only product I've found to rehydrate my legs and arms in one application and getting rid of the itch almost immediately. Rarely do I need to put on another application before I shower again.I reordered another one from my original order and didn't notice it was no longer available. The product Amazon replaced it with (Hydrophor Ointment) was entirely something different and much more an ointment like Vaseline but runnier. The original product I ordered "Aquaphilic Ointment" that works for me is very hard to find in stores and online anywhere!I highly recommend "Aquaphilic Ointment" (cream) for anyone with very dry skin.

It has no odor and isn't gunky or greasy. The tub it comes in will last for a while if only a couple people are using it and daily. Since it is in a tub, you do have to make sure your hands are clean before you scoop some out. Most hand cremes come in tubes; this wouldn't work in a tube, so there can't be a bacteria transfer during application. This is scooped out using fingers, which is fine since it's not a gooey, drippy substance.
