I was never able to connect to the app via Bluetooth. I deleted and reinstalled the app three times. I tried this with my (Apple) iPhone X and my husband tried it with his (Android) Samsung Galaxy 8 phone. Still no luck. I then contacted the ASAKUKI and they wrote back:Dear xxx,Please kindly try again following the steps as below:1)Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone2)Open the “ASAKUKI Health” app3)Step on the scale with bare footThen you will see a phrase on your phone “please keep standing on the scale, data collecting...”Please notice that only when you step on the scale the Bluetooth will be connected.Best regards,LuciaI did all that already as instructed the first time around, and second, etc. with no luck. This reply was of no help, so I returned the item.

This is advertised as a "Bluetooth Body Fat Scale".The Bluetooth part works well. It linked to my phone easily, and collects the data without problem.Measuring body fat using bioelectric impedance (BI) is challenging, and can be unreliable. Unreliable is what this instrument's measure of body fat is proving. For me the measurement fluctuates from 23% to 30%. While there isn't universal agreement, obesity is considered to be a body fat measure of 30% and above. By this scale's measure, I'm borderline obese. Not only am I not obese. I am neither overweight, nor fat. Another way of measuring body fat is densitometry, essentially measuring water displacement. Because muscle is heavier than fat, this provides a reliable way of measuring body fat. My body fat levels range between 14% - 17%.The BI measurement will not register unless a little water is placed on the sensors before stepping on the scale.The measurement of weight appears to be consistently under by 1%. That measure is consistent, which is fine.This is fine as a scale, just don't trust the other data.

Love, love, love everything about this scale! Not only is it at a FANTASTIC price, it works better than any other scale I've used (including the Fitbit Aria). It's SUPER easy to set-up (unlike the last one I bought which had to go back because it would never sync correctly), the app is totally user friendly, it's a bit smaller and takes up less space in my bathroom and it just plain works! Plus, it measure a lot of other things other scales don't measure (besides weight and BMI, it measure body water, bone mass, BMI, visceral fat, BMR and muscle mass). Best purchase I've made in a while, for sure!

Very accurate, and the app coming with it gives details that are only usually available when you go to very specific doctor practices.I'm glad to have all that at home and to be able to see not only my weight, but a detailed description of the muscle, fat masses and other things.One caveat though: the ratios and what is considered "standard" or "overweight" are slightly different (i.e., lower) from the usual Western standards. For instance, the standard BMI is between 18.5 and 24 instead of 18.5 and 24.9.Definitely recommend if you're alright not being freaked out by their coloring code and willing to see beyond their standard!

I avoided hopping on a scale for far too long... I like all the insights I can see on my phone (or tablet) to keep my weight monitored properly. It came with batteries (luckily) and it works beautifully. I only wish the instructions would explain how the Bluetooth connection really works as I spent a bunch of time trying to pair it with my phone without realizing it is so smart it automatically synchronizes with the app once you hop on it.Truly a great product. I strongly recommend it.

It's a nice scale, built well. But there is no way the measurements are accurate. It measured me as 40% body fat/obese... I may not be in the best shape I've ever been in because I had a baby 9 months ago, but I'm nowhere near obese! Pic for reference...

I did a lot of research and settled on these. They look good, the numbers are easy to read and the best part of all is the app. Very intuitive and easy to use.One of my main concerns was that the numbers would be difficult to read but that's not an issue at all. It's also easy to change from person to person. Very pleased with this purchase.

This scale is awesome! It looks beautiful, the digital numbers only appear when the scale is turned on, otherwise it is flat white. The smartphone app and the amount of information it gives you is really cool. You just have the app open when you hop on the scale, and when its done, it asks if you want to import or discard the data. My husband and I both used it, and neither of us got each other's data (which I was worried about). I purchased it on sale, and I think I would buy it again full price if I had to!
