This is awesome 👌 great product. I repurchased this because I dropped my other one. 😵‍💫 however this is less than the price of the small bucket of 3" chlorine tablets. It kept my pool cleaner than shock ever did. I highly recommend this product. Ps I tried another brand and it sank🤣 sent it back. I purchased this one and it was in the pool all winter with no issues at all. Hope this helps you save money 💰 🤑 💸 🙏

I bought an old house with a 1970s plaster pool. Pool plaster is in awful shape and algae control has always been an issue. If I don't brush or dump in 2-3 bags of shock in a hot Texas week BOOM - looks like a lawn. The cost and availability of granule chlorine shock in the spring sent me looking to alternatives and this copper solar thing has been AWESOME! Threw it in my greenish pool, put some chlorine tabs in my floaters, 2 days later no algae. And no granule residue on the pool bottom getting stirred up looking cloudy either. I've been telling everyone about it. Work better than I thought it would. Copper anode lasted about 2 months. Don't know yet if the heat uses more copper or if that's the rate. Also can't tell if the LED light is still working. Couldn't tell if LED was working at month 3 when I changed the anode and was worried that it had broke already - nope still killing green so I don't care about the light. Strongly recommend.

This product DOES NOT work. Don’t waste your money!!! When you try to send it back because it doesn’t work, they tell you it must be in resaleable condition....... unused! Well how is that going to happen when you’re purchasing a product to use, use it, find out it does not work and want to return for your money back. We used the product for 3 weeks. It did not do anything to the pool. My response from Customer service was “WE have thousands of customers using this product and if it doesn’t work it’s not the product! You have not used it long enough or it’s too small for your pool”. Very disappointed with the unit and the company! You need to have a return policy for unsatisfied customers!!

Not saying it does or does not work, but it left black dirt looking debris constantly on the bottom of my pool. Didn’t stain anything (yet) but after a week I’ve stopped using it. Would prob work well in a pond. Now I’m out $170. 😕

2nd reviewBeen working for three months, zero algae compared to before. Still using the first copper cell, it will likely last another month or so. Still very happy with the ionizer.First review..Working so far about a month. only using 2 tablets in the skimmer basket now instead of 3 or 4 tablets in a 25,000 gallon pool. The cell looks like it will last about 4 to 6 months, so may have to get a couple more cells. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

I am incredibly happy with this product. This season it seemed like I was struggling with the pool much more than normal to get it clear. It had been rought to say the least, with alot invested in every pool chemical type there is getting unsustained results. I just could not get rid of the wave of algie and cloudiness. It was so bad that I bought a new filter knowing full well that I had openex the pool in June with a brand new filter. Talk about desperate, and the new filter still did not work.I saw this product and a couple others like it on amazon, read the reviews and after a few days decided to give this one a try. Wow!! After a few days I believe about 7 my pool became crystal clear. I mean professional pool looking crystal clear water. It has rained a lot last week and I did not need to add anything to the water. Just this little gadget and the regular floating chlorinator. It is an investment, but we'll worth it.

I don't write many reviews but I do have to say about this one...it works. Scrubbing green and especially black algae spots off are no fun but this thing, after about two weeks really kicked in and I never saw either algae again and we had the hottest Phoenix summer ever in 2020. AND...I even used less shock than I normally use. The chlorine tablet usage was about the same. I will say again though, be patient, it took about two weeks to really kick in to start working and in that time I continued to scrub what was there but once gone it never returned. I shook out the blue gunk about twice during the summer that the little basket under the device collects while doing its magic and the little LED to let me know when the chemicals in the pool has to be looked at burnt out (probably from the sun) but I have my pool figured out finally so I don't really need that. So, yes, I recommend this product and it will pay for itself with savings from chemicals not purchased and your back will appreciate not scrubbing off algae from the pool sides/floor.
