NORTIV 8 Men's Lightweight Military Tactical Work Boots Outdoor Hiking Motorcycle Combat Boots

I had total ankle joint replacement about a year ago. Recovery and rehab have gone well. I am overweight so have been looking for mid-height, ankle supportive boot. I tried a conventional 6” hiking boot with Vibram sole, but I found it too stiff and rigid, and the aggressive tread would catch on surface irregularities, and trip me up. Reviewers were saying that these Nortive8 boots were more flexible/ comfortable than most hiking boots so I ordered a pair. They have excellent quality construction. They fit as expected, and are comfortable out of the box. The tread is mild and rounded in the edges, which is perfect for what I needed. Some reviews said that these boots do not provide much ankle support, but I have not found that to be the case. With the 8” height and double hook eyelets, if I snug the laces, they provide plenty of support for my weak ankle. I have worn them outdoors almost all waking hours for about two weeks, and they show no wear yet. Just a couple of minor suggestions for improvement: the tongue could be a little thicker, and the laces are too long. Beyond that, I am very happy with them, especially considering their I’m very reasonable price.

I've worn these boots 5 days a week for about a month. I'm a boot guy needing the features of a boot as I complete tasks on my small farm. For years I have worn expensive boots but always seek out a bargain. These boots were a great price on Prime day and I own tennis shoes made by Nortiv that are good so I ordered the boots. I am impressed. Here's some reasons why. These boots are super light. Listing says just over one pound. Light weight is great after a long day working. And as listing says, they are water proof. Water beads up on lower sections. I treated lower part with silicone just in case but so far no wet feet. Most boots I have owned are so hard to get on but these Nortiv are amazing. They are surprisingly supple and I can slip them on in just a moment. The top two shoe string points are catches rather than holes making lacing a breeze. And speaking of laces, I've had boots that it was impossible to keep tied. All day long I would find laces untied. I don't know how Nortiv does it but the material for their laces stays tied! And the boots come with a spare set of laces! The boots are comfortable and provide adequate support. The soles are aggressive enough that I have not slipped when wearing but not so aggressive that I have to dig out mud from the cleats. I will report back after more time on the farm. So far these boots have proven exceptional.

Very comfortable, I work in construction and am standing all day, light enough my feet don't get tired, sturdy enough I don't roll my ankles, and flexible enough to drive with a clutch in a CDL truck. I did put an additional insert in because I really like when it's super cushioned, you don't need to theirs are pretty good I'm just a little extra...lol Also water proof to a certain degree, light to medium rain ok but torrential downpour or actually standing in more than 3 inches of water they will start to get wet. Definitely buying another pair when these wear out..I don't lace mine up completely I just do the first hook and leave them tied and when I want them off I just unhook one side and they work great. The size is perfect for me I did got half size up because I anticipated putting in an extra insert.

Boots are super comfortable.I work all day outside and this boots made my shift go so much smoother.It felt like I was walking on air.Great product.Highly recommend if you are a landscaper or work outside in any field.

I love this pair of shoes very light very firm I took them hiking with no discomfort and the price was right.

Great fitting and very comfortable. However, leather eyes for laces do break. If after 30 days, only a partial refund. Still stuck with boots that have broken eyelets.

Bought Men's waterproof boots for a Spring mountain field research trip. They were lightweight but sturdy, no foot fatigue after 9-10 hour days. The fit was true to size, no pressure points, and equally important--they surprisingly remained dry inside! Experienced rain, wet grasses, mud, and even Spring snow, with dry feet. Extremely impressed and will purchase another pair to have for the future.

Boots arrived on the 13th- no issues with delivery. External Amazon box and internal Nortiv box were in excellent condition.Opened the internal box, removed paper wadding, took boots downstairs to put them on.First indication something was wrong was a piece of metal hanging from the laces when I pulled them out from inside the right boot. I initially thought the boots had come with a zipper even though I had already inspected both boots and knew they were not the quick-zip variety.Was further confused when the left boot did not have the “zipper” attached to the laces.Set them down, started to loosen up the laces all the way down to put my foot in, right boot first, and realized that the top outer side of the foot speed-lace eyelet was missing. Then picked up the “zipper” and realized that’s what it was.13 total years of my life wearing military boots and never experienced a speed-lace eyelet detaching. Extremely disappointed as the boots look very cool and the plan was to wear them to an amusement park and break them in for work that evening.
