This was, to me, an expensive item. So I did not expect it to break after only winding it up a few times. However, as any first time mother I purchased this 2 months in advance, so by the time we got our baby home from the NICU after 6 weeks and used it, it was alreafy too late to return the mobile. So, I bought another music box piece at the thrift store for 25 cents and rigged it up so my baby could hear the music and watch the animals dance. I will say the animals are of good quality, I loved the tune it played when it worked, and it is breathtakingly beautiful and soft.

This music mobile is extremely adorable! I love it. Goes great with his nursery. Easy to assemble. It's also a wind up so you don't have to buy batteries for it

The mobile is gorgeous. However, the wind-up music box it comes with is awful, and I can't believe they're selling it for $40+ with that thing! It lasts about 30 seconds. I replaced mine with a Shiloh battery operated digital music box that I had from baby #1 and it's perfect.... But Shiloh doesn't sell them on Amazon any longer. FYI I bought this mobile for $9 as an Amazon warehouse deal, so I got my money's worth, but if never spend full price on it.

Used for a week before I noticed it would stop spinning. The music plays but it seems the mobile itself is to heavy for the music box and dislocated itself from the turning mechanism. Pushing it up into the hook seems to engage it for a bit, until it drops back down and stops again. Last time going wind-up, will try a battery operated unit instead. Especially at this price.

This is typical of any tension spring operated musical device. But having a baby and a 12 year old makes this opportunity even better. I've convinced my 12 year old that the random slow creepy music plays when the music box get any vibration through it is actually a ghost trying to sooth the spirit on the baby because it knows the baby is going to die soon. 5 Stars for helping me troll my son.Seriously though, I'm getting rid of that possessed music box and 3d printing a housing for a dd motor hooked up to an arduino to play music. This thing is cute but the constant random slow creepy nursery rhymes and kind of disturbing.

This mobile was perfect. My son is 5 months now and absolutely loves this and can watch it forever. I did however switch up the music box with a different one that plays non-stop with 12-15 different melodies. I can't stand the wind-up ones. Anyway, even though they grow very fast, this mobile was and is worth it - especially if it keeps him occupied for 15-20 minutes so I can take a shower or put him down for a bit.

For $45 this was disappointing. The music doesn’t last long at all and it sounds like it’s on fast forward. And it jerks. Like after a certain amount of spins, it jerks making a loud noise. Would not buy this brand again.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This music box is HORRIBLE! It sounds broken. And only plays for 15-20 seconds!!!! Terrible purchase and I’m VERY disappointed in the product ! Unfortunately the box was thrown away so I can’t return the piece of junk!

El producto es exactamente como se muestra en las fotos, es muy bonito, lo único es que la música dura muy poco y al principio cuando esta todo cargado va mas rápido y se empieza a hacer lenta a medida que avanza.

El producto es súper bonito, tal y como lo esperaba, sin embargo, la caja musical no funcionaba, tuve que regresarlo. Una lástima porque en verdad es muy lindo

No es compatible con mi tipo de cuna, no ajusta para nada, tuve que poner hule espuma y unas tablas, además la música va muy rápido y dura muy poco.

No es posible que se haya solicitado 3 veces el producto y las 3 veces la caja musical no sirva.Es muy bonito el artefacto pero inservible para su función
