I absolutely love this item and I wish I had bought this earlier. As I am working from home, I have to either sit in a dark room or turn on the room lights at night. Since I do not have curtains and have windows on two sides of the room, I have been hesitating about turning the lights on which would expose the entire room to all the neighbors. So finally I decided to get a desk lamp (that I have never heard of before) because of my friend's recommendation. Now, I can use my laptop with enough light while the room is very dark and I am probably not very visible either.The packaging is wonderful, all parts are secure with foams inside the box. The assembly took about 1-2 minutes and I did not even need to look at the manual. It comes with all you need: 4 screws and a screwdriver. I love it when manufacturers think about customers and put everything inside the package. It has a durable silicone neck that you can adjust the lamp bar with. The lamp bar has 4 switches: ON/OFF, auto-adjustment mode, color temperature, and brightness settings. The base is very stable with 4 stoppers at the bottom. Even the lowest brightness provides enough light for reading. This is an absolute game-changer. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my husband’s desk. He draws house plans on his huge desk and this gives off just the right amount of light. It’s not glaring light but it is bright so he can clearly see the whole desktop. It came packaged very securely in heavy styrofoam in a study box. Putting the heavy platform bottom on was a bit of a challenge, for me, I have feet for hands. But once I got it set up I was very happy with this purchase. It looks classy and the soft touch on and off/ dimmer features on top are very nice.

This lamp is just what I was looking for and more!!~ I work from home and needed something that would light up my keyboard without interfering with my monitors (I have three of them). This fit the bill perfectly, The light is slim and long so it rests right at the bottom of the one monitor and the top of the other two so it doesn't block the top monitor at all. It's tall enough to reach over the bottom monitors and it is flexible enough that I can position it exactly where I need it to be so it doesn't shine directly in my eyes. The adjustments on the brightness and tone of the light are perfect for lighting up the keyboard without being so bright my eyes water. I Love, love love this lamp.

A little bit tough to assemble, especially putting 4 small nails between the bottom and main body.My girlfriend helped greatly since she has small fingers. If a single person tries, may encounter a littlehardship to align the holes.Once that is done, it's perfect. Bright and easy to control and use.

I have had four of these lamps. All four have issues with the on/off switch not working (turns on but will not turn off). The first three we sent back (all with the same issue). EppieBasic reached out and offered us a fourth one essentially saying that three failures in a row was abnormal. I do like their customer service. Got the fourth lamp and guess what? It also will not turn on/off … So now we have had four of these fail … not one has worked.There is a marketing note on one of their other lamps that states: “Quality Enhanced - Touch buttons have been improved and no more issues that cannot turn off”. I guess they know about this quality issue but are still selling the bad ones. The one they claim has been fixed, is the one with the architect clamp mounting which won't work on my desk.

There are similar lamps for half the price, but this lamp is so well made that it's more than worth it. Fit and finish is impeccable and the goose neck looks like it was made that way no matter how you position it. The light quality is FANTASTIC.Assembly was easy, and it's like they already knew I would spend an hour looking for a screwdriver, so they included one. They also seem to know that there was a 90% likelihood that I would lose a screw, so, yup, there is an extra one. I will probably unscrew each screw and replace it with a drop of blue thread locker.The only negative is that it was shipped in an unsealed box. Outside of that it is very well packaged with lots of protective foam.Overall I'm very impressed.

Okay, so I just received my order last night and just put it together now. First of all, I am not normally the one who puts anything together because I do not like reading directions and I have no patience lol. However, it was so simple you didn’t even need directions. Second thing I want to mention is the packaging..WOW! It was packaged securely and even came with a screwdriver. This company definitely takes pride in their products. As far as the actual light - it is exactly as described and I LOVE it. I work from home and work 10 hours a day so eye strain is rough. This light will help me out so much. I highly recommend buying this, you won’t regret it.

I'm really impressed with this desk lamp. It's well made, sturdy and has every option of color light (white to golden) and every brightness. It fits perfectly over a tv/monitor. The neck bands so you can adjust the lighted area. Easy to assemble and mine even came with it's own screwdriver. Would buy again and would recommend. One thing I was curious about - The neck does not extend to be longer/taller.

Happy with the lamp's function and design, it does what I want...but it's not cheap, especially if you are on a budget.My only gripe is that the lamp was supplied with a mains plug for USA(?). Why would an item be offered on amazon.com.au (Australia) for supply to Australia and the description NOT mention this important fact?! Inexcusable laziness or indifference by the seller and it meant that I had to buy an adapter before I could use the lamp.(I found the lamp was much easier to use when seated after I stuck labels on the lamp's top bar showing the location of each out-of-sight touch button. That might sound anal but it saves me having to get up from the chair each time to see where a button is to make an adjustment to the lighting).

This is a very cantankerous product, despite the high price.Screws for base is very cheap metal.The power connector that is fixed, doesn’t reach the unit.Cannot use. Returning

The lamp is we’ll built and feels solid to the touch. It has many brightness settings and different types of light quality which makes it suitable for many users. It is easy to setup and it doesn’t produce much heat with prolonged usage. The down side I can mention is the long frame which may be difficult to use if your desk space is limited or you have a shelf above the desk. Overall it is good value for money.
