How to Write a Children's Book and Get It Published

I never thought I would ever want to write a book, let alone a children's book but out of a dream came an inspiration for me to do just that. Not knowing how to approach this new craft, I researched many books to help me get started and follow through. This book covers it all. The author is very helpful and practical with her advice on how to write a children's book. The lessons probably could be applied to any book for that matter. She gives you guidelines and suggestions for learning what works and what doesn't. The book also helps you figure out what age group you want to steer your book towards. This was something I hadn't given a lot of thought to. I am beginning to write my book now and this book is also a great reference book as well.

This is very informative and helpful. I did buy a couple more books on the topic though, it doesn't have a ton of information on publishing. Great intro book on the topic.
