Really wonderful window AC, a huge improvement over the floor standing portable unit I’ve been using for years. The unit itself is extremely quiet since all the noisy bits are outside, it can make a bit of a racket shaking the window and nearby objects though. You’ll find windowsill vibrations you never knew you had.Also extremely energy efficient, I saved about $20/month in the summer vs the old portable AC unit. Compressor, interior fan, and exterior fan are also electronically variable speed, and the unit can control each one to maximize efficiency. Also has some extra efficiency boosting functions like splashing drain water over the exterior coil.Very easy to install, no mounting brackets at all since it just straddles the windowsill. It is pretty heavy though, and somewhat awkwardly sized (most of the weight is on the end that sits outside). It can be taken in and out by one person if they’re in decent shape, but two people makes it a lot easier to avoid hurting yourself.

I replaced my 18k but air-conditioner with this one. I thought this wouldn't be enough and that I would have to get two, but this thing does absolutely fine all by itself. It's super quiet, and it was the EASIEST air conditioner I have ever installed. Totally awesome unit

The media could not be loaded. Update again: he filter light and Wi-Fi light continue to flash. Two days ago, my husband cleaned the filter and drained every last drop of water out of the air conditioner. It is still flashing and blows air that smells of mildew. It is disgusting. We are going to Lowe’s tomorrow to buy a replacement of a completely different brand. I plan on smashing this with a sledgehammer when we return home.This update should have been written last summer, but it is worse now, so I will give the history.As others have stated, the lowest temp you can select is 64. That does not mean the you will get your bedroom within 5 degrees of this requested temperature. High/Cool is actually nothing more than a fan. The compressor does not kick on. To get the compressor I turn on, you have to change the setting from Cool to Dry. Now you are removing the humidity, but it was spring and not even humid. I just wanted cold air! When you switch the Cool mode to Dry, and leave the fan speed on high - not touching it…it automatically goes into a low fan speed but the instrument panel still says it is high speed. At first it would turn off by itself in the middle of the night and you would wake up in a puddle of sweat and the air being very muggy. You get up, turn it back on, but the room never cools off.Setting up a service call was so hard to figure out. You are directed to go into the GE website and request service. There was only 1 place on the website in our area. We live right between DC and Richmond, but there was only 1 service company???!!!! I scheduled the appointment and received confirmation but it was still 2 weeks out. The guy never showed! When I went back to the website to see if I had put the wrong date on my calendar, there was a final statement input by THE SERVICE COMPANY that never showed up saying “appointment cancelled by customer “. WTH?!!!!!! At that point, my warranty literally had expired 2 days prior. I can’t stand this thing. I want to beat it into a million pieces with a sledge hammer, pack it up and send it to GE HQ. I still am receiving emails that my warranty has expired and to take out a service plan. Good luck getting someone out to even look at it.Decided to conserve energy at night. There is no reason to have the heat pump run all night to cool the house to 68 degrees for sleeping. This unit is quiet, has an eco setting so the compressor will kick on and off. My Great Pyrenees wants to sleep in our room now that it is a lot colder! I am so happy that the temperature is more regulated too - no hot spots!

I like this AC unit overall. It's not ugly and doesn't block the window like a normal window unit does, which is a big plus. The included install kit is very nice, and comes with plenty of foam and gasket material to block the gap on the sides. It's well insulated and could stay in all year without drafts etc.Installation was easy for the most part. It's just little different than a normal unit, with a few specific needs depending on the window construction. I was actually able to do it myself but I wouldn't recommend it.It is for the most part very quiet. The only issue is when the compressor cycles slower to save power, it vibrates a lot, resonantes and make a rumbling noise. I had to experiment with cardboard and foam so that it wouldn't rattle against the window sill.The only big negative is that eco mode doesn't work. This appears to be a bug with these units but not a deal breaker for me. It will come down to temperature only once, but will never come back on when the room gets warm again. Today the room temp got 10F higher over the course of 6 hours and it still didn't cycle back on a single time, even just to sample the room air which is what should normally happen.Still, it's not a huge problem in my opinion. I'm still happy with the purchase

This is a fantastic product. Two-Three person install. See out your window without blocking the view. Quietest window air conditioner I have ever heard. We save hundreds of dollars a year cooling the upstairs bedroom. Heat rises and cool air falls. Everyone is much happier in our house with even temperatures. It is so quiet it is actually soothing to listen to. We leave it installed all year. The install kit worked like a charm. Just require an extra 2x4 to properly mount outside on the aluminum shingles. The remote and WiFi application work well too. Highest recommendation 👌

We purchased this U - shaped window AC for our bedroom. We have central AC but live in hot, humid Louisiana and wanted to have lower temps in our bedroom at night without cooling the entire house. IDK why so many videos show this unit being loud, because with proper installation, following install directions, and leveling the AC, ours is so quiet we have to go over to feel the cold air coming out when we first turn it on to know it is on! Love that after you initially turn it on the light go out so there is no light pollution in the bedroom. Quality product. Quiet, efficient and definitely recommend this window AC!

Se apagaba despues de ~dos minutos. Sospecho que estaba danado el compresor. El vendor (Electron Mexico) en sus mensajes prometia de hacerlo bien pero a final de cuentas no quiso mandar un reemplazo.
