Q: Will this work with the lg projector that is like the flare?

It Is set up with a standard threaded mount like a camera tripod. If the LG can has a threaded port then it should be fine.

Q: so can this work with the flare 150 digital art projector?

Yes. I have the Flare 150 and it attaches securely to the stand.

Q: Will this work with the Artograph prism projector?

No, this stand will not work with the Prism Projector. It does not have a threaded connection housing at the bottom. It will work with a digital camera or projector that has the housing for a 1/4-20 thread post.

Q: Does the projected image distort as it the image expands or zooms out?

Yes, but there is a "keystone" option on the projector that fixes the distortion, depending on what type of projector you have. I have had no trouble adjusting my artograph projections to fit my watercolor paper with no distortions. This is really not a function of the stand, but of the projector. Hope this helps.
