Best removal system
Moved into a house where every room had wallpaper. Most was easy to remove by vinegar method. But the bathrooms and master bedroom had foil wallpaper.Did the guest bathroom first. They had even wallpapered the ceiling in the bathrooms. There was the heavy duty foil and under it that a heavy duty liner. The top layer peeled off easily but not the rest. Then on half the walls, there must have been a 1/4 inch adhesive left that just would not come off; it was a vinyl residue and from experience I knew this would lead to paint failure if not cleaned off thoroughly. And I forgot to include that we have orange peel textured walls. It took three weeks of steaming, scraping, trying every wallpaper chemical remover plus special adhesive remover before I got it clean. A nightmare!I kept searching for a better way because the master bath and bedroom had the same issues and, even worse, the top layer of foil would not peel off at all except in teeny pieces. Because I had removed the wallpaper around the windows in those rooms earlier, before having my blinds installed, i knew it was not going to be easy. It was going to be a double nightmare.Found Simple Strip through much searching, bought the solution and one pack of their Hydro Sheets. I used my little rotary sander on the foil, which worked really great over the textured walls to scratch up the foil and expose enough of the backing without scratching the wallboard.I wan't sure if the Simple Strip system would work so I decided to test it on a small area first. I used a small piece of paper-and-plastic drop cloth From a painting project instead of cutting up the Hydro Sheet. Soaked the 24-inch square piece in solution and slapped it up on a section of wall. Left it for about 15-minutes and went back to add more solution but found the plastic backing kept the solution from drying out. Didn't need to respray as instructed. Waited another 15-minutes as instructed and started to scrape away the wallpaper underneath. An area that size had taken 20-30 minutes to scrape and clean from around my windows. using this method took 20 seconds and everything including the final layer of adhesive came off with absolutely no effort! The wall was super clean. This stuff is a miracle. The time you wait for the solution to fully work is nothing compared to the time and effort with the standard methods. Some thoughts. I will use the Hydro Sheets I bought but add cheap plastic-only drop cloths cut to size on top of the Hydro Sheets to keep the solution from drying out while it works on the wallpaper. I think the plastic really helped and made it less messy. Also just maintaining a "wet" removal solution on the wall may be all that is needed. If that is true, can save money by using any paper-and-plastic drop cloth (get the heavy duty ones that cost about $6-9 for a two pack of 9x12 sheets that can be cut to size). Only difference is the Hydro Sheets can be reused for a limited number of times, the wet drop cloths will deteriorate with first use once you take them off the walls. Also may be able to use this method with other liquid solutions, even my favorite vinegar-water-fabric softener.

worked okay, i guess
i used this along with the scoring tool and sheets and the whole process is just way too time consuming. i will say, though, that the solution worked pretty well on its own. it got the glue up quicker than just hot water. if you're going to go with this product, i'd say save your money (and time) and just stick with this solution + a scraper rather than the whole sheets/scoring tool package.

Great remover
I have used this on both regular wallpaper and paper that had been painted over. The painted wallpaper took more time and effort, but still came off pretty clean. The plain wallpaper came off in a snap. Very easy to use and no weird toxic smell. I do recommend wearing gloves or washing your hands frequently as you use (it left my hands kind of peeling the next day after using it a lot the previous day, but it went away within a day with some washing and lotion).

Amazing!
We bought a 100 year old house from people that loved wallpaper. There are 6 rooms that have at least one layer of wallpaper in them. We bought the wallwik solution, strips and sprayer on recommendation from a family member. We had so much to do that we went for the larger professional kit instead of the home use kit. To our surprise the first room that we did had 3 layers of wallpaper over painted plaster. Luckily they had painted it before putting up the original wallpaper many moons ago. We bought the tiger scorer and went to town, sprayed the wall, soaked the sheets, applied them and sprayed every ten minutes for 40 minutes. The first layer came down in perfect sheets. The 2nd layer nearly came down in perfect sheets, where it didn't were places we didn't score hard enough or keep wet enough. We put the sheets on for another 15 minutes and the third layer would not come off the wall. I think this had more to do with the type of wallpaper it was b/c it had fabric at the ceiling that was glued in place to hold it there. We used a scraper and without ANY effort at all, the 3rd layer just scraped right off. It was as easy to scrape off as spackling was to put on. At the celing, we had to cut the fabric and rip it.. but I've never seen wallpaper like that and I'm really hoping it isn't lurking behind the wallpaper in the other 5 rooms. There were two of us working on this project but b/c we were busy with other projects, we worked on this project one person at a time. It took about 4 hours from scoring to clean up for a 10 x 12 room. We bought two packages of sheets and had enough to do a full wall at a time. You will want to ventilate the room if you plan to be in there awhile. The stuff doesn't smell bad but after an hour or so locked in a small room, I wanted some fresh air.

good product
product works as advertised making removal much easier. Just make sure you perforate your paper enough for the solution to soak through.
