Original Appleipod Compatible for mp3 mp4 Player Apple iPod 80GB Classic 7th Generation- Black

This refurbished Ipod looks like a brand new product and works flawlessly. There was an issue, however. When we first got it we could not connect to computer (USB device not recognized). We tried two different computers with same result. The problem turned out to be the 30 pin to USB cable that shipped with the IPod. When we tried an old cable that we had on hand, the issue disappeared. We contacted Amazon and they gave us a substantial discount on the IPod as well as a new cable, so all is well. Apple should never have stopped making this device as it is great and I prefer this for playing music over using my phone. Also, I have an excellent TEAC ds-H01 docking station that I can connect to my receiver with either analog RCA cables or digital coaxial or optical cables. The IPod just plugs right into the 30 pin connector on the top of the docking station and I can control it with the TEAC's remote. Very happy with this purchase.

I wish I could give it a better review, because cosmetically the device looked great.Unfortunately the battery was dead and wouldn’t hold a charge, and the hard drive was corrupted (Error 1439). Therefore I wasn’t able to actually use it.These device are sold AS IS, and not as a refurb as the price point would imply. 😔

My last Ipod lasted 10 years. I only like this model, they should bring it back. Anyway Ipod came only took 40 minutes to download 7840 songs from my library. I'm a happy camper.

Reviews had me worried but I took a chance since I have the prime credit card and can easily get my money back if the worst happened. I was pleasantly surprised. 10000% recommend this if you’re looking for a blast from the past. Faceplate, battery, backplates, screen, and everything have been replaced and it even comes with the new sticker on it that you remove yourself. Works great once you replace the junk cable that comes with it.People in reviews complain for justified reasons, but we gotta remember that charging standards have changed since 2008. Your 5W usb wall plug isn’t gonna give this thing the juice that came standard in 2008 and neither is your 2020 laptop. Things today to a lot more with a lot less energy and you have to compensate for that when charging this thing. The cable that comes with it is unfortunately junk, but thankfully it’s an easy and cheap replacement.

I was waiting for this iPod for days, and the first strike was that it didn't arrive on the scheduled day, I had to wait 2 more days, well, the second strike was that it came in very bad condition, but oh well, I saw it coming, the product is years old. The third and final strike was that I couldn't put any songs in it, I tried all possible methods and none of them worked, so I decided to return it and ask for a refund.
