Great quality, low price!
Just purchased this Paramed Manual BP Cuff and so far everything works great! I’ve been practicing on family and friends and I get very clear, and just as important, very consistent numbers. Really happy with the additional picture-detail instructions to carry in the pouch just in case. Well built, comfortable to use, awesome stethoscope included that works very well, and if something were to happen to my BP set I would definitely purchase another one from you guys. Will definitely be recommending this product set to my classmates. Big fan of ParaMed! From 1-5 with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest, this product is a solid 5.In addition to the comments about the stethoscope that comes included. Look at the price! It’s a such a steal for what you’re getting the stethoscope obviously isn’t going to be the best out there but honestly if you know what you’re doing and how to use this equipment it’ll be just right. I used my littmann stethoscope to compare and I can get signs clear with both.

Excellent Product For The Price
I bought this pressure cuff and stethoscope to use in my nursing assistant class in which we we required to measure blood pressure accurate to +/- 10 mmHg of our instructor's measurement, and they held up very nicely. They were comparable in accuracy to a 40 dollar combo that the class was selling, which pleasantly surprised me. Here are some pros and cons that I encountered while using them.PROS:1. Like I said, the value. These will have no problem with accuracy or sound. I was able to clearly make out the systolic and diastolic sounds.2. The cuff is slightly more comfortable to put onto someone and is easier to get a tight fit in comparison to other cuffs.CONS:1. The only major downside that I encountered was the flimsy air valve. It is really hard to have precise control over how much air was being let out because of how flimsy the knob was. Even a slight turn would sometimes release air too fast to measure, forcing me to redo the measurement. In conclusion, I believe that this cuff and stethoscope combination is a great starting kit and is comparable in value to kits way pricier than the low price that Paramed charges.

Awesome customer service. I really wanted to like this set!
The EMT jump bag in the rescue truck stores a Littman scope and a super silky nice cuff. I did NOT expect that in a cheap set, and did not receive one. There are things I like about this but I'm afraid I'm just not going to keep it, for this low price. Springing for a little better kit - or separate scope - might be the way to go if you are using this frequently.EDIT: customer service contacted me so I added a star back. I was pretty hasty and critical in my assessment. For the price this works as an occasional use entry level BP set. I wish I had others to compare to! The cuff works and you can get by with this scope for quick BP.The scope head is super cheap plastic as other reviewers have picked up. The audio works for BP but not much more. The ear tips are hard plastic and only one size. Note you'll have to do some bending to make this comfortable for even a minute! Don't bend the tubes (of course) but try the springy piece of metal that connects the two. Also rotating the tubes so the ear buds face forward a bit (instead of facing each other straight to the side) makes a huge difference in the sound! The cuff seems decent and is reasonably comfortable. The d-ring design means you will be either taking it apart each time or sliding up the arm. I find it large enough to slide up the arm without difficulty, there's a block to keep it from falling back out of the ring, and the d-ring makes it much easier to use on myself. The cuff doesn't have artery markers like the video and instructions show and taking readings from different locations changes the results. The monometer has a decent multi-way clip on it but nowhere on the cuff to actually clip it so it just sort of dangles from the top. The dial is easy to read but i wish just a little larger. The valve makes it tricky to release air at a steady pace and actually see where it is when the pulse sounds resume.Side note, i see why people buy the automatic ones now. I asked a paramedic his opinion of this set and after he stopped laughing said he didn't even know when the last time he took a manual BP was. Faster and more accurate to use the machines. Well, my service still uses the old ways.

BP cuff is decent but stethoscope is terrible
Edit of previous review:While I still can't say I love the BP cuff design, I can say that I love the customer service! After my previous review I was contacted by one of Paramed's representatives and they replaced my faulty unit with a new unit. I hadn't requested a replacement since I already owned a stethoscope and didn't have a problem with the BP cuff besides the design of it so I was very impressed when their customer service reached out to me to remedy the problem. The new unit works very well and I would buy from Paramed again based off their customer service alone. For the price you pay this BP does the job although there are some annoyances that I'm not fond of. The dial isn't permanently attached to the cuff and instead slides on the cuff with a clip in the back. This can get frustrating since the tubes connecting pump and dial get tangled and the dial occasionally flops off the cuff or whatever else it is connected to. For the cuff itself in order to get it on one needs to slide their arm into it instead of wrapping it around the arm. This can be personal preference but I don't like this feature. As for the stethoscope, it's TERRIBLE and would better be suited for a kid's doctor play set. But, what can you expect for the cheap price. Over all opinion, BP cuff works but there's annoyances; the stethoscope doesn't work.

Works, But Feels Cheap
The cuff is usable and fits a wide range of arm sizes, but the materials feel very cheap. It’s okay for occasional home use, but not for anything serious.
