Sturdy and easy to install
These grab bars worked perfectly to make my bathroom a bit safer in the shower and for assistance standing up without the fear of falling, I will be ordering more to use elsewhere throughout the house because they are simple to install and look very nice.

Good and Solid for gripping.
Perfect product (good and solid) at the right price, installed easily and it arrived quickly. I needed it for our senior friends visiting to get up a couple steps coming into the house from the garage. And I have one to spare - location TBD.

Nice product
Nice safety bars. Smaller diameter and mounting footprint than larger bars, which fit my space perfectly. The knurled grip gives a secure feeling when holding onto the bar.

Diameter of bar is maybe 1 inch
I only used 1 of the 2 bars to get in the shower. It installed easily but the base plate is a little flimsy in my opinion. Again the diameter of the bar is only 1 inch, not the what I call normal handicap bar diameter. Just be aware. If does the job so far.

Perfect diameter and length!
I wish I would have bought these the first time. They are the perfect width and diameter. I was in and out of the hospital and weak. Then I broke my ankle. The first ones I returned because I felt insecure with the small diameter. I feel secure with these. My physical therapist gave them the OK as well.

Makes a great bathroom grab bar.
I used one of these as a grab handle outside a bathtub for an elderly client who had previously ripped the towel rack off his wall when exiting his bathtub/shower enclosure. Due to the locations of the wall studs and the mismatched spacing of the bar mounts, I mounted the grab bar on a painted 1x6 plank of wood, then mounted the plank onto the wall with 2" screws into the wall studs. It isn't going anywhere. This allows the user to put his or her entire weight onto the bar without tearing out the drywall sheetrock and leaving a hole in the wall. It also doubles as a towel rack as well, granting double duty. And the placement directly across from his toilet may also aid him in pulling himself up when he is finished.Super-Dave Approved! 👍

Very sturdy, but installing them is somewhat difficult
These grab bars are very sturdy, but installing them is somewhat difficult: The plate that attaches the grab bar to the wall must attached to the end of the grab bar with a large screw BEFORE the plate is screwed into the wall (into either the supplied drywall anchors or into wood behind the drywall). This is a little tricky to do and requires fully assembling the grab bar (but leaving the cover for the plates off), and aligning the holes in the plates so that the screws into the wall can be tightened. The bigger problem is with the supplied drywall anchors -- they are either too big or slightly too small for standard size drill bits, and the instructions say that they should be pounded into the hole drilled in the drywall with a hammer, but they're very small and not stiff enough to be pounded.
