The machine works like a charm and is whisper quiet. It has several (important) features that were not present in the description. Namely: it's one of the few Win/7 capable machines that have full legacy ports (LPT1, COM1, VGA, PS/2 keyboard & mouse) in addition to 6 rear and 4 convenient front USB ports plus mic & earphone. It also has a rear E-Sata port and a display port for a 2nd monitor (adapter required). Inside, it has 2 PCI expansion slots and a PCI-Express slot (to optionally support 2 more monitors).It also came with a decent keyboard and an optical USB mouse. This is a fantastic machine for those who feel they need to upgrade their old XP systems. My mom bought one too and she's thrilled with it. She's 92 years old and was getting frustrated with her old machine.

So far, I have been very pleased with this desktop tower. All my photos, documents, music transferred well (by an expert) and the only minor glitch has been that the power cord is a little loose and shorts out. Once the computer was put into place, it has not been a problem.I'd recommend their reconditioned computers to anyone. It's much faster and I like the Windows 7 program. I had XP before.

This was a good purchase. Even though it is not the latest Intel processor --- it is a used workstation afterall -- the system works like a charm and is nice and compact. It was the perfect replacement for one of my older pentium systems. I added a low profile video card to the unit and it actually is quite speedy.

Seller has listed this PC as refurbished but it was more like USED as it contained someone's personal files. Seller tried to up-sell this PC with upgrades I didn't asked for, when I refused seller send the unit as it was listed from the spec. However, seller replaced original 3.5 HDD with inferior notebook 2.5 HDD. Package arrived with dented hook and took me few minutes to unbend it to open up computer cover. I can't tell weather it was done purposely so I wouldn't find out HDD has been replaced or it was bent during the shipping. Package was wrapped well enough that it was odd that only one portion is bent without damaging the whole computer. I give two stars for fast shipping and good pricing.

Within 7 months of purchase, the unit develop a major startup issue. Upon contacting the Vendor thru Amazon's portal, not a word for 8 days. Upon contacting Amazon directly regarding the problem, I received a phone call from the vendor 13 days after the request. The issue was explained and after stating what was needed and why, he finally agreed to send the Operating Disk. I asked if he could send it next day, as I work from home and my boss was not happy. He stated it would cost me $30. Upon my shock, I reminded him the Operating Disk should have been included as advertised. He refused the send it next day. Asked if he could send it within 3 days, and he said yes. Needless to say, it arrived 8 days later. Plus, it was the wrong version of windows and no product key.It's been five days since contacting him about receiving the wrong disc and not a word from him nor from Amazon.. In addition, Square Trade 's Warranty does not include software issues. So, here I am with a dead computer and a Boss who is about to fire me.So I has no choice but to buy a new computer similar in size with superior speed, storage, etc. costing approximately the same with a full year of warranty regardless of Hardware or Software issues. The vendor is not Amazon.Think twice before buying from this vendor!!

At 4GB of ram and an outdated duo core processor, this PC is not going to do much that a Raspberry Pi couldn't do. I didn't do much benchmarking, if anything I did could be considered benchmarking, but I'm not exactly satisfied with this PC for being used as anything than a large Google Docs and Sheets box with internet capabilities. I ran a bit of PCSX2, but could literally not play any games until I installed a 1gb graphics card (a GT 210), and even then games that I ran would chug, which could very well be due to running PS2 disks on a PC and emulating the hardware to play them. Meanwhile, I had no problems playing Youtube videos or flash games, and the various tools that come with Windows 7 were usable.Honestly, this PC is only worth it if you're on a budget and going to attend college or have a job that doesn't need you to open more than 4 tabs on an internet browser.Mind, I bought this refurbished so my actual experience may be a bit faulty. Still, it should also be noted that the model you get may vary, as Dell made several different types that all function basically the same just with different case sizes. The one I got was this behemoth tower with TWO disk drives. What kind of a madman had this before me?

Machine came in a timely fashion and was very well packed. The small form factor is able to easily fit on your desktop and is extremely quiet. For my use it is a perfect.

I love it. It is fast and quiet. Have had it for about 1 month, and so far have had no problems with it. It is a refurbished model, and I would recommend it highly.
