A good product at a reasonable price
I ordered this A/B switch because I am a musician and wanted to be able to switch between playing at backup volume and playing at lead solo volume by using two preset channels of the band's mixing board. Since it is a passive device, I don't have to worry about a battery dying on me, or an AC adapter failing. The device does come with an AC adapter, but that is strictly to power the LED indicator lights showing whether you are in A (red LED) or B (blue LED) mode. I do like that feature, so I always make use of it.

Switch, not Split
No noise. Switch worked great.1 guitar into 2 amps, or 2 guitars into one amp. Either configuration works.Note that only one "channel" is active at a time, so you cant send one signal into two sources at once. It is not a "Splitter." It's a "switcher"

EX A/B Box Pedal
Well built, easy to use. I bought this pedal by mistake - I wanted an A/B-Y pedal but I overlooked that this one doesn’t send the signal into two amps at the same time. However, the design is so good and the accessories are so generous that I’m keeping it. I’m sure I’ll find a creative way to use it.Update: I wanted to split my stereo guitar signal between a pair of amps and a stereo direct-box and switch them on the fly, so I wound up getting a second one. These little pedals wound up being a vital feature of my setup.

Works great
I play both 6 and 12 string, so adding this switch to my pedal board now allowed me to have both guitars plugged into the switch making for a one touch switch over to either guitar.

Does the job!
It's a simple circut and the did a decent job of putting it together. Using it to split the signal out to a rack tuner. There's a very small amount of bleed between the channels but again, for this price, it's super worth it! All black metal case that seems to be road-worthy and durable. It's a passive circut so power is only needed if you want the LEDs on.

Good Quality.
I chose this one mainly for the LEDs having two different colors for indicators as opposed to the ones that require you read or look closely at the switch while you're playing (and I can barely think and chew gum at the same time already). The thing is this...The LEDs have such a beautiful, bright glow (far out-glowing any other lights on my board) that it becomes a focal point (distracting from the music). Due to this, you may need to run a thin strip of black masking tape across them so that you leave just a slither of light showing through as I did. Don't worry, you won't see the tape at all and it works really great. Just like this switch does.

Very Handy
I got this to use on my 2 channel amp, so that I can switch between accordion and guitar while singing, and It's perfect. I like that it doesn't need batteries or an external power source.

Good A/B pedal
After building a baritone guitar I was looking at putting both bass and guitar pedals on the same pedalboard but wanted a good, but not expensive, A/B pedal to switch between instruments. This A'B pedal did the trick without breaking the bank. I should have gone with a two input pedalboard years ago.
