BUY IT!
Buy it. Better than harbor freight. Mine came almost completely assembled. And it was fast shipping and free. I still haven’t gotten word from harbor freight. I love HF but go get Titan!

UPDATED: Nice product but could use some improvements
First off, the unit arrived with the crate completely destroyed. It was made out of 1/8" plywood and was only being held together by the fours plastic bands. The Fedex driver and I couldn't unload it from the truck in it's condition, so we cut the bands and unloaded it piece by piece. Amazingly all the parts made it, but not the instructions. The unit is fairly easy to assemble, but it will help if you have help to stand it up after it is assembled. The unit is well built and I think it will serve me well. Now the reason for only four stars. Once my unit was built and ready for use, I attempted to raise it to the height of my shop. The cable winch on the first side worked fine. I raised it up one notch and went to the other side to do the same. The other side locks after the handle is turned about four times. I checked for any obvious issues, but didn't find any. After contacting the seller twice, their only solution was to return the unit. A pretty radical solution to a minor problem. The winch could be replaced by removing four bolts and two cable clamps. Much easier than several hours of disassembly and shipment! At this point I intend to keep the unit and fix it myself.UPDATE: A few days after this review I received an email from a different representative asking for me to identify the broken part. She worked hard to get me a schematic and eventually the needed part. It took about 15 minutes to install it and just like that, I'm a very satisfied customer! Thanks Kristen Zubor!

Solid and balanced Gantry for your home garage
I bought this crane for my new garage with 10' ceilings. The crane stands about 7.5 feet at it's lowest setting. I always wanted a crane to work on my ATV's, lawn tractors and trailers but really disliked using ramps or jack stands since they were always in the way. Not anymore, I can now lift the entire unit if I prefer which greatly provides more room to work on the underside of the ATV's and lawn tractor . The instructions have some errors on the diagram identifying parts but not really that big of a deal. The written assembly instructions are the same. Word of warning is that you will need a few friends to help raise the crane to its vertical position. I hooked up the chain block and used my garage rafters to stand it up. Moves easily around the concrete floor. I ordered it in August 2019 but only assembled it in March 2020. No problems with the parts, everything was accounted for, no damage during shipment. I purchased the chain block and trolley separately, installed them and everything works very nicely. Looks good to.

Castors are not rated to carry the load capacity of the gantry
The gantry is fine. Designed like most others out there. Unfortunately, one of my castors came apart after minimal use. This gantry needs steel-poly wheels, not the cheap plastic ones. Otherwise, good.

Very useful tool once you get it upright.
How have I gone this long without one of these? Yes it is big and yes it uses up some floor space but it sure helps handle the bigger, heavier jobs. Back saver for sure and now I don't have to wait for my buddies and instead we can just hang out because the work is done! I purchased 2 hoists 1 electric 1200lb. For smaller things and a second manual 2 ton hoist for the larger jobs or if I want added support to stabilize a lift. The hardest part for me was lifting it up after assembly by myself which I found myself tethering the base to a tree and wrapping a heavy strap around the beam and hooking that strap to the bumper of my truck and very slowly idled forward thus erecting my crane! Seems to be very well built and certainly comes in handy. Thank you Titan

Casualty waiting to happen
Device is structurally unsound and not stable. Leg posts are not plumb and required our use of washer shims. Legs posts are 1/8 -inch steel tubing and while the unit is reasonably stable in the static position, you will not want to move this thing under load. I Beam head itself is fine, but the legs incur a risk. If pushed, the outboard leg will flex inwards - making an unplumbed system even more so, and it is foreseeable that the legs could collapse under load - especially at its rated limits with a rushing trolley. Our own structural engineers concluded that the device to be unstable and not to use it in any other mode than fixed in place. The crane lifting system is also problematic. In our case, the pawl/hooks were simply too short to engage the pins. We reached out to the manufacturer, and after many photos and recurring dialogue back and forth, they refused to offer any help or corrective guidance. We purchased the 2-ton unit despite our lifting needs to be limited to one ton or less. Our larger lifting needs are fulfilled with one of our yard cranes or our forklifts. If your application is fixed and no need to move the load, say pull an engine block, this may be fine. If you plan on lifting a substantive load and moving - make sure you lock the trolley, keep the load as low to the ground as possible, and pull the legs rather than push to prevent flexing inwards. This is a made in China item with what appears to be a US-based distributor. The warranty manager, someone by the name of "Cody" in our case, was unhelpful, uncooperative, defensive and deflected the issues and conversation again and again.

As expected, no surprises. Close...but not my ideal, but I'm particular
Easy enough to assemble, might be better to have help, I had my engine hoist and a step ladder... it worked (entirely due to my own impatience) No complaints, seems like the standard width, but would be nice to be 18" wider, and able to be 12" lower (easy enough to modify). I also replaced the bolts for the lifting bars and added spacers. I'm rather particular, but it was easy to upgrade to where I was happy. When shopping for chainfall hoists keep in mind that there's a good reason they suddenly drop in price by 50%. All in all it saved time and therefore money.
