The size was perfect. Installation was done all by myself without any help at all. I would strongly suggest. at least one person to help. I don't think I'd do it again by myself. Mine is a 15' awning and it was a challenge to do alone. And it wasn't done in a day. I'd work at it, get stuck, and think of how to proceed next.. I had watched a few U Tube videos on how to replace the fabric. I took a little from each one. From the full on professional install to the red neck version and a few others. I installed the trailer end first the did the roller tube side. I figured it would be eaiser that way. It was a comedy show at times as mine is a powered awning. I had the arms tied up before I started and when I released them I was damn neat launched off my ladder. Serves me right for being stubborn. Happy with the results but at age 70 I think I would pay the next time.

Product was accurate on color and description. Came nicely packaged. Installation videos on youtube are most beneficial to helping the process, and two people are ideal for a smooth installation. Will buy again…

Awesome awning for the money

My Solero manual awning (pull strap, ratcheting type) on my 2013 StarCraft camper ripped a little at the seams when i left it out in strong wind. After searching for a replacement, I chose this one. It may not be OEM quality, but it is close. For the price, it is great. I read another review stating that it was a little better than a harbor freight tarp. That is certainly not the case. Only using my camper 2 to 3 times a year, this is wholly adequate and much better than dealing with a ripped one. If I were an every weekend camper, I _might_ opt for the OEM version, though there is not much difference in my opinion.I could not find specific instructions for replacing the canopy on my type of awning, so this is what we did. Installation will certainly take two people, and can be achieved by fully extending awning as normal, letting it lock into place. Remove set screws on both roller bar side and camper side. Simultaneously push each arm back towards the camper to within a foot or so and securely tie both arms off (there will be resistance due to hydraulic arm). Obviously, the old canopy will hang down since it has not been rolled up on the roller bar. Slide old material out. Spray soapy water on the both edges of the new canopy and carefully slide the new canopy through the roller bar slot and camper side guide, working each end little by little (soapy water is your friend here). Have someone hold the new canopy out straight so that sliding it is easier and you don't tear it on guides. This step is cumbersome due to the weight of the material. Be patient, work slowly- speed will increase once several feet have started in. Then while holding them, untie the arms and slowly extend canopy arms back to extended position. Make sure new canopy is straight and in the right position. Hold strap, release lock, and rollup/extend the canopy several times. Then, put the set screws back in place.

Nice quality and easy to install

This cover/canopy is well made with heavy duty material and it fits well.Not a hard job, but it is challenging. Two guys and two ladders along with some tools, lubricant ( I used silicon spray), and a pop rivet gun capable of using large rivets. You will only need two rivets.

We spent multiple hours trying to put on this new awning and finally got it on and discovered there were multiple holes in the product.

We had to replace our awning this year and this one works great. It was easy to install and I was able to put my led lights back up.

After watching a couple short videos online we (2 handy people) took the old awning fabric off and installed this new one. It took less than an hour and we even took the time to clean the old hardware. A few basic tools and some soapy water. Pretty easy to do. The quality was great. It is thicker and heavier than the factory one, and keeps you cooler in the sun. The spring needs slightly more tension because of the weight, but it’s an easy adjustment. Highly recommend.

I installed it today and it went well, looks great. The only downside is that it is just a little bit shorter than the original one, it doesn't bothers me

The awning fabric is well constructed and looks great. The additional cable pull for the awning had a string that was too small for the slot and as such is not very useful. But the awning itself is wonderful.

High quality material … easy job to install … just be careful if you have an electric awning one side of the awning has tension i… be very careful if you have to remove that side which is the side with no wires coming out of it … aside from that a straight forward job.

At this price point, I honestly was not expecting the quality to be this good. Amazon delivered it very quickly. The awning had all the parts pre-assembled, saving time. Installation went better than expected, having two others to help is recommended to avoid damage to the awning. I strongly suggest making sure the main track and roller grooves are well cleaned and any sharp edges filed down or taped over, prior to installation. Plenty of of YouTube videos to watch to see how best to install. I also used WD40 as a lubricant to slide the awning in the main track and the roller grooves. If this last 5 years in the Okanagan weather, it will be money well spent.
