This saw was bought due to being fairly cheap and was only going to be used for mitres on some pvc skirting, but have now used on a few different home projects while renovating an older house we bought with no issues what so ever , nice clean cuts with the laser pretty accurate.

Wow i love this Mitre saw. Being a lady I did not purchased this saw before thinking it would be to complicated to use, so i have been suffering years with using a hand saw which is so hard work and time consuming if you have so much wood to cut. I have been doing on my house, installing decking and chopping left over wood and tree branches. So this new saw has made my work so much easier, My son got it out the box and checked it was all ok and placed it on a garden table to use. He tested it and then showed me how to use it , which was so simple and easy. I love the fact my arms are not going to ache any more like using the handsaw. You can set the cutting size easy and its ready to go once plugged in. There is a saw bag which collects all the dust when sawing, which helps to keep the area cleaner. The price was a bargain too, i was expecting them to n=be so much more , but this one is very reasonable priced and is going to save me pounds too by myself able to do a lot of the cutting of wood and giving me a load of free fire wood quickly and easily with hardly any effort on the arm muscles. This would make an ideal present for a DIY person for Christmas, birthday , special occasion etc. highly recommend indeed.

out of the box I found a little piece of metal rattling around at the bottom when I looked I noticed it was one of the teeth, on further inspection I saw that the rear guard had been sawn through. also the stand pictured in the manual is missing. I emailed HYCHIKA but they haven't bothered to reply. this is the third tool I have bought from them and I am not impressed

Just like another person who put in a review my saw was also missing the support stand at the back of the saw. Nothing on the saw, instruction manual clearly shows there should be something there and frankly it doesn't look like the kind of thing that you would put on yourself. I thought well maybe this is a slightly newer model than the instruction booklet. So I went on to their webpage and the saw isn't even listed. I don't have any confidence that they are going to respond and I get the impression they are out of the mitre saw business. So either there is a version of this saw that doesn't have the support stand, or mine was missing the stand. Either way..not taking the chance and will be returning it. Saw seemed a bit unstable without one and I'm not willing to operate an unsafe power tool. Seemed like a good deal but now having it, not so much.

This mitre saw is perfect for the jobs that I had to do. I built some walls for my gazebo and wanted the 45 degree angle on the wood.I have to mention that it is my first time using a machine like this, but it is very manageable, even for beginners. The instructions are a bit vague, but you can figure it out.Assembly is very easy you only have a couple of plates to screw in place.Great product!!
