Commercial Ice Makers (21.9 * 17.1 * 31.7 Inches(L*W*H), 200 LBS)

I was a little skeptical if this ice maker would really work like people were saying it did. I received it and it was packaged Really Extra Good. When we got it connected to water and pushed start it wasn't no time and out comes a batch of ice. When it came out it was in a slab of cubes and was really hard to break apart but we played with it ( We found the number in the bottom left we like it on -2. That makes it much easier to break it apart. Just throw it against the ice in the bin and then you have a bunch of little cubes. It is Awesome. We bought it to use in our concession trailer and I think it is going to be really great! It makes it pretty quick. We make it and bag it and keep on making until we get our freezer full and Guess What Basically Free Ice. Just the cost of the water. I would Recommend it to Anyone. WE LOVE IT! I thought I would let you know in about a month and see if it is still plugging along.

Do not buy from this company. They are unethical and do everything they can to not assist you if something happens to your equipment. I purchased $1000 ice machine one year and three weeks ago. A small piece the size of my pinky finger nail broke off, causing the machine to no longer work. I was told since the machine was out of warranty that they cannot help me. I was also told that that part is no longer made, even though they are still selling the same style ice machine. It is sad that company would do this to theircustomers. I own a coffee shop and I’m in the process of opening three more coffee shops meaning I need three more ice machines and a forth ice machine to replace the one I was denied service on. I will not be purchasing anything else from here. This could have been solved over a $15 part, that will make my thousand dollar ice machine functional once again. I hope that $15 part was worth costing you over $4000 in business.

This think surprised me at how much Ice it makes. One thing to note is it can only fill up the bin if there is room. There are sensors that stop it from making more ice. Also it makes ice all the time. The unit itself is not refrigerated it is only insulated. The ice keeps the rest of the ice cold. It can make enough ice to fill the bin 2-3 times a day but you have to be emptying it out. If you don't need that much ice then no worries. We use it in our office and it has been a fantastic addition over our whirlpool refrigerators ice machine. I have owned several of these over the years and this one seems to be of great quality. It has been running for about 1-2 months. I will update if something changes but overall a great machine.

I wanted to add this review for the more attention to detail customer. The good part about This 48 lbs capacity ice maker that works great and spits crystal clear good solid cubes of ice, installing is straight forward, the water line is just a push inward, it started making ice immediately, we bought it for a workplace for around 30 people, now my beef with this machine and why I removed a star,.because One of the most important reason i picked this over other models, was the angle the door is positioned, around 35 degrees slanted, which will give you the greatest access to scoop the ice out, but unfortunately the door will not slide all the way back, sticking out not able to use that angle/opening which for me it defeats the purpose of having that angle which again i can't stress it enough is very important to ergonomically without twisting your hand scoop ice out. I think is a design flaw in my opinion. Overall we're happy with our purchase just our coworkers need to be more careful scooping ice out.

*update* This ice machine quit working 1 day and a year short of when I bought it. Free Village has been very responsive to fixing the problem. However, after dealing with this for 1 mth exactly, we still do not have a working ice machine. We use a LOT of ice and this has been a pain in the neck. Once again, have an email in to Free Village, with the info that the control board they sent, didn't repair the problem and we STILL don't have an ice maker. About to just go buy another one and learn from my mistake. Which is to buy local and buy the extended warranty. Although, I feel with an extended warranty, we would still be dealing with the same issue. The issue being that I haven't received another ice machine to replace the one that quit working before a year was out.We waaayyy over estimated our ice needs, but this ice maker is a work horse! After a big camping trip, we found that the bin of the ice machine, loosely holds 20lbs of ice. Think 2, 10lb bags of ice, DAILY! We're completely enthralled with this machine, so just buy it. Srsly. We did buy ice bags, so we could have an excess, but,so far, no excess. I find myself giving ice as a hostess gift. We keep it on our back patio, in Mississippi heat and humidity, with no problems, so far. Hubs did get a drinking hose and filter, just to ensure we keep good ice. I've said it once and I'll say it again, GET IT, you will not regret it. My August bday wish was for an ice machine and hubby hit it out of the park. Thanks Babe!

This machine makes a ton of ice but also constantly leaks in the back no matter what we do. Does anyone else have problems with leaking from the back of this and what you’ve done to fix it.

So I bought this ice Maker in May of 2022. Then it set in the box until December. Due to building a bar countertop for this to get placed in and having to run water and drainage lines. So i've had it running for about the last eight months, and it was working great, Then one day, it stopped making ice, And gave a symbol that the ice bucket was full when it was not. After going back-and-forth with free village ice Maker company, And me doing my own troubleshooting i determined it had bad switch. I told the company what the problem was and asked that they replaced the switch, they told me they did not have another switch and suggested that I buy a whole new unit and they would give me $100 off, the $539 purchase. No I don't think so, I hopped on Amazon and started searching for that switch and found a universal one for less than $12. When it came, it was exactly the same switch and got the machine up and running for twelve dollars. A week and a half of emailing back and forth so that I could fix it myself.
