Sounds great and easy to play
Just to be clear, I have added to my ukulele as you can see in the picture. I own three other ukuleles but I am far from a professional. I own another electric and even a high end Kanile'a Ukulele. This doesn't sound like a Kanile'a, but it sounds pretty darn good. I originally ordered this without the electric sound effects. Then quickly changed my order while I still could. So glad I did. This doesn't require the amp and cords like my other uke does. I can sit anywhere and get the fun sound by pushing a button. It's worth the extra cost. This stays tuned after the strings stretch. The body is smooth well sculpted. Love the sound hole facing up towards me. Love the color combination of black and white. The tuners are high quality. The fret board and frets are top notch. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a durable and fun uke. I will definitly replace this if I ever need to. Buy it.

I love this ukulele
This thing really exceeded my expectations. I was worried that it would sound cheap since it's not wood, but I love the tone it has. It's my new favorite. The fretboard and the nicely shaped neck make it feel really nice to play, too.I assumed the gig bag was going to just be a normal, cloth bag, but this is like a nice, semi-rigid case which actually offers some protection. Durability is one of the reasons I wanted this uke so that was a plus. The capo is plastic and seems a little cheap, but that's okay. It still works just fine and I have other ones, anyways. It was a relief, too, that the capo and strap that came with my uke were black, even though the accessories that appear in the product photo are white.I haven't played it on an amp yet so I don't know how good the pickup sounds, but the onboard effects are kind of fun.I'd definitely recommend this. Very happy with it. If you're a beginner or buying it for a beginner, you may want to get picks and/or a tuner since this bundle doesn't include those.

Great Purchase
Great little ukulele. I own 6 other ukuleles, one baritone, 4 tenors, and 1 banjolele. The ukuleles range from laminate, mahogany, and a gorgeous custom made 5 string koa ukulele from Hawaii. The sound of the Enya is a little more guitar like with the reverb but it is just too cool whether you use an amplifier or just the built-in sound system. It sounds pretty good if you don't want to spend the extra money for the reverb system but if your budget allows, I think it's worth it. I chose the concert size as I'm a 74 year old woman with some arthritis in my fingers and I felt the closer frets might buy me something. It is definitely easier playing bar chords. You can't go wrong with this purchase! It's definitely my "go to" friend. I always name my ukes. I named this one "YA". The other beauty of having a travel uke is you don't need to worry about temperature changes, moisture etc. I will be taking "YA" out in my kayak this summer and serenade the loons on our lake. I'm talking about the birds, not the neighbors! 😂

All the ukulele you need
I bought this ukulele to use with a combo group for various indoor and outdoor performances over the holiday season. I usually play a Martin 2K Tenor, and didn't want to subject it to the potential temperature and humidity variations of outdoor winter performances. So far I've played it in a wet fog and on a windy stage, no issues at all. The Enya Nova works really well. It's a comfortable size and weight, the neck is a comfortable size for easy hand movement, the strap buttons are well placed for a good playing position. I've used it acoustically and through amps and it sounds pretty good with nice tone and resonance. Does it play like a $2000 instrument? No, but for a beginner to intermediate player, or someone who wants to take their uke everywhere with them, it's all you need. I had heard good reviews on the Enya Nova ukes, and I have to agree it's a keeper!

Great Uke
I love my Enya. It arrived well set up and plays like butter. The built-in effects are nice, but not great compared to using external effects pedals, but then again they are practically free. It sounds nice, but not quite as good as a traditional wood ukulele, but is pleasing to the ear in it's own rite.

Awesome uke!
Don’t hesitate, very fun to play! The effects are slimmer than you’d expect and it’s not loud at all. You can only hear it at home. But overall closer feel to guitar and nicer neck but interestingly the acoustics are lesser than the previous smaller bodies. The stings are thicker on this model I’m thinking to try the Nova U strings in this to see if I can get closer tothat sound which was brighter and louder.

Picture of the First item that came that was defective.
returning it. Second item that came defective. First item was the wrong size uke that was covered in candy plus strings were all mangled. This item was the right item, in good condition… except that one of the brackets holding the electronics together was completely fallen off. The glue holding it together is very tacky. I’m choosing another ukulele to get and a different seller
