First night grand daughter slept on her 'big girl toddler bed'...she leaked through her diaper. The mattress protector did its job well. No mess! Washes well and is soft and breathable.

I know this is supposed to be used with a different sheet on top of it but it’s so soft that my baby loves to sleep on it. Very easy to clean no noises and no leaking to the mattress either. Just love it!

Bought this when my daughter was born December 2018. And it has held up amazingly. Not seeing how it's not waterproof like a lot of other reviews say. Maybe they put it on inside out. Both mine have come inside out. But my daughter has had a lot of blowouts during the night and each time despite it soaking through the crib bedding the protector has kept the mattress more than dry. She is now about 13 months old and we have never ever had an issue to this day. We mostly handwash it so I'm not sure of washer durability but keep it to a gentle wash cycle and you'll be fine. Always follow what you think is best. All washers are not created equal and some are rougher than others. We recently bought it again for our new baby due in June 2020 and we'll see if anything has changed. But so far 13 months strong. I don't know how some people are getting mold. Generally mold generates in moist conditions so idk. '-' the next time we wash her bedding I'll update how it goes on a gentle cycle and I'll update if the quality has changed with the new one.Another update: it is now July 2021. We still have used the 2018 one every single day. We've had more accidents. With juice. Etc. Still hasn't gotten to the mattress. We still use the 2020 one. Also every day. He's had accidents in the morning. Mattress is still perfectly clean.And guess what. We're having another baby 2022. Guuessss what mattress protector we bought again. Now we'll have three. 30-35$ for 3 mattress protectors? Now that's a bargain.
