Timber Wolf Ti-Coated Rainbow Pocket Knife

Well lack of QC and or overall quality seems to have killed this one. First issue the frame lock would bind with the blade open, I could push it over with two hands and a lot of force but that's not good. Second issue one of the star socket screws was stripped out in the socket. making it look more like a hex socket.. worse it had burrs from the star that extended above the hand surface.. Third.. kinda minor but the front was scuffed a little vs the back and blade looking untouched.. anyway It was returned for refund today. Why not a 1 you might ask.. the finish was attractive. I really liked the style, shape, size. if not for the problems on this particular one I really wanted to like it and use it. So I have mixed feelings about it and might order another sometime to see if I bad lucked into a lemon , blem, used return or whatever.

I do not buy expensive knives, and this is the best knife I have ever owned. The blade locks into place and does not wiggle while working. It is very easy to open with either hand. I first bought one of these knives from a different site for a slightly higher price, and ordered another from Amazon after misplacing mine.The blade did not come very sharp, but was easy to sharpen and holds its edge fairly well. The clip was a little too tight, but was easy to loosen up a bit. This is a great knife, especially for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone.*UPDATE*After giving the knife to a friend who needed a good knife, I bought yet another one. Still an awesome knife, although this one didn't open quite as quickly straight out of the box. If it's stiff to open, take a 1.5mm hex wrench, loosen the blade, drip some lube in there, and then tighten the blade back up. It's a razor sharp knife and completely awesome for the price.

This is a review for the Timber Wolf Ti-Coated Rainbow Pocket Knife.You can't really go wrong with this knife. It has a nice, solid feel and the action is smooth. I like how the weight is balanced and substantial in the hand. It actually looks and feels like a much pricier option, and the blade is perfectly sharp. This isn't a very common knife finish and it's fun to give as gifts because of the novelty. Better still is smoothness of the operation. It's a great knife at a bargain price.

I received this knife as a present from my youngest daughter (who has zero experience with knives). I wasn't all that sure about the "Rainbow" finish (simulated heat treatment??) but I have come to like it. Appearance aside, it is actually a VERY good folding knife.

the knife is great. not that sharp but it is very beautiful so i will hardly ever use it to not scratch the surface finish. but it is being sold on amazon for anywhere from 50% to 100% more than on other sites so I will be getting the 3 more i plan to purchase from that other site, not from amazon

This knife looks great in person, and for the price it's fantastic. The only thing I have to complain about is that it was dull out of the box. The metal pits slightly when sharpened, so it is not the best quality. But for the price, it does what I need it to which is opening stuff and using it for basic tasks. I'm not trying to skin a deer or anything. So if you're looking for a cheap, cute, everyday knife, this one is perfect! Just be aware that it may need sharpening every now and then.

It's pretty, but it loses its wow factor pretty quickly. The screws in it do not stay in at all, and I was forced to tighten them many times a day. They often fell off and I had to stop using this knife. Don't even think about dropping it, you'll lose screws. It's not too sharp to begin with, but isnt that bad. Look for something tougher.

This knife is quite lovely. It has a nice, sharp blade, and it very easy to fold in and out. The colours are pretty and nice for a girl (which I am). I was quite pleased with how sturdy it feels, including the pocket clip. This is very useful even if you aren't outdoorsy-opening boxes, cutting string, crafts, etc.. And in a pinch, can be a good, small, self defense tool. This is an especially nice gift for an outdoorsy young lady. I love mine!
