I mixed a few kinds together for dynamic model texturing. I wish they came in little dishes for easy application but the item was received as described and was a good value.

Nice set of base decor, though a small amount. The description was clear about the quantity that I was getting, but for those who have problems translating grams, the 4 square packages are 3 in x 3 in in size (about 80mm square). The 2 smaller packages are 2 in x 3 in. This is actually plenty for me because I'm doing up a bunch of 25mm figure bases, so huge bags of stuff would go to waste; however, if you are doing a large landscape area (more than a square foot), you will run out of sand. The static grass is very fine, so it doesn't overwhelm my bases. The course sand mix i got was much finer than the picture (bottom center in product photo). I was hoping for something more like the picture with small stones. It's still looks pretty good.

I ordered four different sets of terrain from WWs and most came to me ok but there were two bags that were busted open and mixed together within a larger bag. The bags for the sand and grit come in 2x2 inch and 3x3 inch bags and then inside a larger zip locked bag. That's all good but the small bags should be double bagged because if they split open or the zip seal busts open like mine did and mixes together that's not good. Also the little bags won't even reseal there so beat up or messed up from the dirt or gravel they held.Now I have to order more but I've decided to go with another supplier instead. One that ships their terrain in plastic containers much like what sandwich meat or cheese comes packed in from the grocery store.I don't know if WWs use old zip bags but just a little advise, you may want to send a note to WWs either before or after you make your purchase and ask them to double bag each individual zip bag. All this stuff was shipped from the UK so it has a long ways to travel and all kinds of bumps and drops and throws happen to these boxes with the terrain and it's very easy for your stuff to bust open and become contaminated with others that are in the same box.I've included a photo of how ratted these little bags are once you get them.

The picture is a bit deceiving. More of a sampler pack. You get a tiny bag of each of the basing material. Package came smashed with the product all over the box. Don’t waste your money.

Shipping was a little slow, but product was as advertised.

The bags may be small but they are packed to the brim with material which is nice. I am definitely gonna be able to do some work with all of this.

Purchased for a future model railroad layout. The product should look and perform well. Very realistic.
