Sensationail Polish to Gel Transformer Starter Kit

I have a deep love for gel polish so when I saw there was a product I could use to start transforming my regular polish into gels, it felt like a world of colour was going to be open to me. I love ILNP and Holo Taco colour lineups, but they only come in regular polish, never a gel. I just personally don't like regular nail polish since it feels like it takes forever to dry even with the quick dry formulas. Plus the smell of regular nail polish feels stronger than gel polish, to me.From the outside of the box, everything seemed okay, I had no idea the nitemare that was waiting for me in the box. Inside the Amazon box, very well packaged lay the Sensational polish to gel transformer kit. The whole box sealed, looked like it was never used. I upload nail content to Youtube and other social media, so I thought it would be perfect to open it all on camera to get raw first reactions.Break the tape open on the box in a fever pitch to see what's inside. It came with a little nail lamp wrapped nicely in bubble wrap. Underneath the lamp lay a 2nd box that contained the USB block for the lamp, gel cleanser bottle, gel primer bottle, and 1 nail polish bottle with polish to gel transformer.I read thru the instructions and it says to paint the gel primer down on the nail first and let it air dry. The gel primer bottles says it has 3.54 mL on the bottle but when I opened it mine, I guess it was housed in the open desert, but inside it was totally empty. Even the bristles were bone dry, almost like none was even put in the bottle to begin with.The instructions also saw to use the nail polish brush that comes with your polish to apply the mixture and when done to use the gel cleanser liquid to remove the mixture before placing the brush back in the bottle. Well...inside the 14.6 mL bottle of cleanser there was less than 1mL of liquid.The final straw was the polish to gel polish liquid itself. The instructions recommend at least 6 drops, so the first mix I made, I used 6 drops of that + 6 drops of ILNP Abracadabra. Just like mixing nail polish in to a gel top coat, it took must of the colour away making it much more transparent that the original nail polish. After curing for 30 seconds in the lamp provided, it was not cured at all. I could press my finger against the nail and pickup colour, so it was more than just a tacky layer like I would get with gel polish.Maybe it was because I didn't use the gel primer first on the nail like the instructions said; but I also didn't get any of that liquid in the bottle to be able to even try to do it the proper way. The final step in the instructions are to brush on the polish to gel transformer polish on top of the final nail & cap, almost as if it is like a top coat. And if you haven't guessed yet by the number or direction of this review, the nail was way more than tacky, and not cured.It clearly states in the ingredient list one of the main items is HEMA. For gel to not be properly curing while HEMA is involved is very sad and feels like the company is trying to make sure people get allergies from gel polish with this lack of care in releasing a product like this. If gel is under 70% cure the molecules from HEMA and acrylates in the gel polish can move to areas of the skin around the nail folds & cuticle and with the right amount of exposure, could get contact dermatitis and lose the ability to use gels in general.I will be adding pics and videos soon of the final result if you need photos to see how bad this product is. If you want to "turn" your nail polish into gel polish, just do it the old fashion way. Here, no gatekeeping free info from a nail tech of 20+ years. Let your nail polish cure to at least 95% dry, 100% is best. Once the polish is cured, top with your favourite gel top coat and cure the specified amount of time in an UV/LED lamp. And boom, now you nail polish that looks gel fresh and with even less chance of picking up contact dermatitis and not wasting almost $20 bucks on this flop.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this at target 2 years ago and it’s great for turning any cheap polish into a gel look. Easy to use. I use it as my top coat once nails are completely dry.

The media could not be loaded. The package came with all of the solutions spilled inside. (Maybe this is a shipping issue) Amazon was kind enough to refund my money.The gel transformation solution causes bubbles. I think this may be due to the ratio of what I mixed between the nail Polish and gel transformation solution. Applying thin layers is better. The UV lamp is super cute and works amazing.Also updated video, this kit causes my nail Polish to turn GREEN.

The gel cleanser bottle was completely dried up and empty upon breaking open the seal. Product was low quality and too expensive for what was included.

One of the items in the box was empty and a second item was partially empty.

When I got the product it was obviously damaged, the box had been taped back together and you could tell there had been some spillage. The gel cleaner and primer were completely empty. Everything in the bottom box was stuck together, also there were no wipes.

I received this product with an empty vial of gel primer and an empty gel cleanser. Both of which were factory sealed. When I tried to return them I was informed they are ineligible for return. What a scam.

I received my package but the cleanser was empty and the polish the gel and primer were half gone. After realizing I cannot return or get a replacement I used the polish to gel. Seems to work great. Disappointed you can’t just buy that. I have been using another product for years for the same purpose and it is no longer available.
