Wiggling Worms at Work (Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science 2)

On a early spring day, my kids noticed the swarm of worms outside. They could not believe the amount of worms and what was happening. I then hopped on Amazon and found this book to share with them. I love how it explains all aspects of worms and it answered a lot of their questions.

I bought this book for my son, who loves worms. He is always curious about them and wanting to know more, and I considered very carefully before buying this one. I am very happy with my purchase, as this is a very approachable book that really teaches a lot about worms. And is more at his level than any website I've ever seen, which is exactly why I was searching for a kids book about worms. I even learned quite a bit...who knew that worms were such interesting creatures?!

It’s a good book but there’s a lot of words so my 3 year old may like it more when he’s a bit older.

A good educational book to start off learning about worms! My 4 year old loved this, and it taught her her a few things she didn't know! She loves collecting worms for our garden and compost, and this was definitely a winning Easter gift!

Believe me, I did not want to buy a book on mealworms, but I am a teacher, and that is what we do. This book helped me (learn) teach my students about the life cycle of the mealworms. It was a very easy picture book that gives the students a better perspective on how the mealworms live in the wild, not in our class aquarium!

A clear a factual explanation of worms and their importance to our gardens.

My son would always stop and look at the worms when we wound drop his sister off at school so I was happy to find this book. He loved it! My 6 year old daughter even liked it. I like that it explains what worms do.

I bought this book to use as part of a unit on worms and habitats in my classroom. I love this book! The art style is unique and interesting, and the illustrations are great. The book teaches about worms in a matter of fact way, but is never boring. It was perfect to read aloud to my 3rd grade class. It was full of great facts and information and perfect to launch my worm unit!

This is a lovely story but one of the pages had a clear rip through the centre, easily fixable with tape but a little surprised even from a used book

Bought this for our 4 year old grandson to accompany a Wormery.The illustrations are lovely.Very informative.A great book to share with a young child and it provides entertainment and information for adults too!

I get my worms via the post from Yorkshire Worms. Now its time to introduce the Grandchildren to the delights of worms. A fun book for all.
