The black colour may highlight some of the dirt or coloured stains near your computer, (I have psoriasis so some of my scale are around the pads/cushion). The base of the pads are not sticky enough to stay at the table ( my solution is to place a double sided tape to stick the pad to the able, although im afraid that the tape may damage the base of the pad but I will find out as the days goes by. It stated Anti-skid but it is skidding slowly.
