MARLIN COATINGS is an awesome product
This coating is amazing. Does exactly what is says it will do. Very thick, like melted cheese, self leveling, applies easily. Just clean the roof very well, tape your seams, brush on around the air units and vents and roll on the rest of the roof with a medium knap micro fiber roller. I did my 35 ft motorhome for under $600 including 3 rolls of seam tape. Much cheaper and better than replacing a whole roof with membrane. What's better is that it's totally waterproof. A must for all rv's.

High-quality, roof coating.
Saved my home, couldn't afford to pay someone to coat or replace my flat vinyl roof. Found this stuff and purchased 25 gallons to apply myself. Cleaned surface real well, applied with a roller on a mild day. Put it on think, it self levels almost to a smooth shine. Been a year no problems.

Good Product , great price!
After finding that I had to Aluminum re-coat my flat roof every 4 -5 years , I wondered if this stuff would offer more durability. I have used this stuff 4 years ago and it seems to be hanging in there, no peeling, cracking,no water fatigue, just a water tight rubber-like seal. When applied to a squeaky-cleaned surface the adherence is great. I am thinking I might get maybe 10+ years before I need a reapplication if that soon!

Easy to use, seals well
We re sealed our 5th wheel roof with this product and used paint rollers to spread it. It sticks well, levels out well, the only issue is it is easier to peel off if it does get ripped (which seems it wouldnt be easy to rip) It is definitely cool to the touch after sitting in the sun compared to our other roof material. We bought a 5 gallon for a 42’ 5th wheel with 5 slides and 1 coat covered the roof and the slides. We also purchased an rv shade for the roof, so we did not do more than one layer.

Works great on a flat roof!
I have a fiberglass roof that is flat. It is nearly ten years old and was starting to develop small leaks. One coat of this stuff and the leaks have stopped. I also noticed that the summer electric bills were more manageable. The third floor of my house gets very hot in the summer with full sun on it. This stuff really helped keep the house cooler without cranking up the aircon.

Love this stuff!!
I love the way it’s self leveling, it’s very easy to roll on. The water beads up after a rain and just runs off. It’s bright white in color so it reflects the sun rays and actually keeps the travel trailer cooler!

Covers and seals RV roofs well
This was a project I had been dreading but I finally got up the gumption to do it—and thankfully it wasn’t nearly as hard as I had expected. We have a 32-foot fifth wheel with some years on it, and the roof has sun damage and cracking, so it was critical to coat it before it starts leaking. Rubber roofs will leak sooner or later if you don’t keep them coated and the joints sealed. I used 5 gallons of the Marlin coating for the project, and mixed it with a drill attachment for mixing mortar; a paint mixing attachment should also work.Proper cleaning is of course the key to good adhesion so we scrubbed down the roof with a good scrub brush, TSP and bleach. This took two of us a couple of hours. Then it had to dry, which took a few days because thunder storms kept re-wetting the roof.I taped around the vents and gutters to keep from getting the coating where I didn’t want it, and then cut in around the openings and where the EPDM rubber rolls over the sides of the trailer using a 4-inch brush. Be sure to seal all joints especially well. Don’t make the same mistake I made with the brush: get a decent brush even though you’ll have to toss it afterwards because the cheap brushes will constantly shed. This is very thick material and it’s a hassle to have to pull out the hairs the brush has shed. This part took a couple of hours.Next came the main coating, which went fast using a roller with a pole. Be careful not to paint yourself into a corner! I poured out a little out at a time and spread it with the roller. Put it on thick, and be sure to keep the bucket covered so it doesn’t thicken up on you before you can get it spread well. This part only took about an hour. The result is a smooth, shiny roof that looks great and protects your RV. The only issue we’ve had is that it’s slick when it gets wet.

This stuff is absolutely awesome!
The media could not be loaded. So far it's working awesome! Super slippery so nothing is going to stay on the roof like it used to. Snow slid right off this past winter! I did the pre wash primer step, let it dry, and applied it. Used a 3/8 nap roller and tray and I did a 2'x2' area with a dip and I still only used half a pail. I plan on doing another coat in spring. Keeps heat in camper down a ton being white too so thats a plusJust don't try walking on it if it's wet or you'll be on the ground before you realize what's going on. Bottom line, it's pricey but worth every penny!
