Low Price For Mediocre Quality
This was the first projector ceiling mount I ever purchased or installed, so at first I didn't have anything to compare it to. It was absurdly complicated to assemble, somewhat flimsy during vibrations, and required periodic re-adjusting, but overall I was reasonably happy with it (especially for the price). However, after a year or so I decided to upgrade to a BenQ CM00G3 Universal Ceiling Mount and I was blown away with its ease of use and build quality. I'm a pretty handy guy but it took several hours to get the Mount-It model properly installed after fiddling with all the odd connectors and adjustments. The BenQ took closer to 30 minutes, it looks nicer, is much easier to align and adjust, and best of all it does not budge during vibrations or need consistent re-adjusting. The design of the arms that attach to the projector are essentially the same on both models, so pretty much any projector will fit on either mount (Epson 2045 for me).I acknowledge this is kind of an unusual review that was only inspired by a better (more expensive) model, and it may not be fair to make comparisons with something that costs 3 times as much. But if you break down the amount of money you're spending on a projector, screen, and accessories, not to mention the installation time and future headaches, the relatively small amount of extra money spent on a higher quality mount like the BenQ seems much more appealing.

Great except for the height adjustment slider
I bought 2 of these to hang projectors in our church sanctuary - we had been using some old enclosures that were trapping heat and killing lamps.Installation was straightforward and the hardware is great. I like that at every mounting point (and adjustment point) there are multiple pieces of hardware to prevent a failure....EXCEPT FOR THE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT SLIDER. This is a single bolt that's just holding against the outer rail to prevent the projector from slipping/falling. The metal isn't super strong so if you attempt to tighten too much you'll likely strip out the threads. I ended up drilling out the hole and replacing with a 25 cent bolt from the hardware store - I lost the ability to adjust the height easily, but I can sleep easy knowing the projectors aren't going to fall on anyone.

Works perfect
For the money this thing is amazing. It was pretty easy to install. The instructions could have been a little clearer between the types of ceiling attaching to, but apart from that it was a breeze. The connection to my projector was a little fidely but not too bad and I got it on fairly quick. With the price of this thing it was very worthwhile.

This is a good mount, and gives you a lot of freedom ...
This is a good mount, and gives you a lot of freedom to move the projector around. The majority of the assembly is straight forward, until you get to the part in between the long arm and the spider that attaches to the projector. Why on earth they didn't thread where the screws go into the long arm at this point I can't imagine. It makes for a tough assembly at that point - the rest is easy. If this one thing were changed I could give this 5 stars, but it is such an unnecessarily inept design failure that it deserves 1 star off. Great mount otherwise!

👍
I like this mount just wish it was a little sturdier on the left right axis. Would purchase again if needed.

If you need a long extended Mount, this is it
I used this ceiling mount for my outdoor movie screen. It gives me the length I was looking for to lower the projector just below my ceiling fan. It also allows some lateral movement from side to side. Perfect for what I needed it for. Most mounts I was considering would not be long enough, this one has some room to spare.

Good all around universal projector mount
This mount securities my Epson projector almost too well. I may have to move the location because I have it mounted in the basement to where movement upstairs makes the projector shake.

All the pieces look sturdy and can do what they are supposed to do
All the pieces look sturdy and can do what they are supposed to do. I like the way it can be extended and retract. For now, I am using it as a floor projector stand by putting piece of wood and wheels underneath so it can be portable. The installation looks not too hard but it is kinda of struggle to align all the small washers to the holes on both side. Once put together it is good.

Good Value Projector Ceiling Bracket
I purchased this product because it could be adjusted to hang up to 34.5 inches below the ceiling. Most other brackets only allow about 24 inches, and I needed more than that. This bracket also had the ability to attach to my projector. I especially appreciated the ability to run the HDMI cable inside the column. My only complaint is that the threaded holes in the bottom bracket "B" were not square with the surface of the steel, so that the bolts are at a slight angle. If the projector orientation slips because the bolts can not be tightened, my plan is to add a few lock washers which should resolve the issue.
