Closest to an SLR I have used
This camera is so easy to use. But before getting serious with it, practice. It is like the old Nikon SLR I had in that regard. My fall pictures turned out so pretty.

Not the best
Honestly for a first camera it’s fine but it’s very grainy there’s not much you can do and it doesn’t take great photos. An I phone can take much better pictures than this camera can. I suggest if you want a camera don’t buy this one. It works great for a beginner but they most likely have better luck using a phone for now and saving for a better one.

so it's not good for action shots
It's an OK camera, kind of slow, hard to take quick pic after pic, you have to wait between each one to let it save, so it's not good for action shots. When I put the zoom in the highest power, most times the lens will not pull back in on it's own when I try to go to a closer subject, either I have to give it a little push, or turn it off, in which case I've missed the next shot. I guess it's alright for the money, but not great. Picture quality is pretty good. Also, I wish it had a rechargeable battery, instead of AAs. When I am finished with this one, it's doubtful that I would buy it again.
