Our Dog Loves It!!!
Our border collie is loosing his sight, in fact, he's pretty much blind now. He always loved playing fetch, and it's been harder since he can no longer see where the toy goes.We initially got toys what make noise (bells, and even some talking toys), but they only make the noise when they move or hit something. That is ok, but we wanted something that made noise for a while longer after it landed, to help him locate it.This is almost perfect. It sings along for a bit, even after throwing it which helps a lot. There are still a lot of times where it shuts off before he finds it, but he generally is close enough to use his nose from that point. We were afraid that he wouldn't be able to engage in his favorite play-time activity, and are glad to find that he still can play, albeit at a bit shorter range. He has always been rough with his toys too. The eyes, nose, and any appendages usually seem to get removed the first day. He really seems to like his Deedle Dudes (yea, we got several... two sharks and the rabbit...lol) and treats them pretty nicely. And he really seems to like them as well. Often, out of the blue, we will hear one of them start singing and realize that he has gone to find one and bring it to us to throw for him. It's been tough on him over the last couple months as his vision has been fading, and I've noticed several times when he appears depressed and sullen. However, when the Deedle Dude sings and we play some close-range fetch, his tail starts wagging and he seems much happier.Yea, the song is annoying (especially when you catch yourself singing it for no reason), but the amount of joy it brings seeing our ol' dog happily playing fetch, is well worth it.For the manufacturer: Thanks much for this, and if you ever put out an "extended singer" version (maybe double length or so), please make sure you get some publicity on it.

The musical sound intrigues my Doby.
She likes it and I just about dance each time she sets it off. Very cute! She is a happy dog and that makes me happy.

Was accidentally left out in the rain and is still working like it's new.
Bought this for my daughter's dog. The videos sold me seeing how excited the dogs were and I cracked up at the recording. This bunny was played with by my daughter's 60 pound dog for a few days outside and was accidentally left out in the rain. My daughter dried it out in the sun and it works fine. Like new, except for the dirt from the yard. Ha ha But her dog loves it. Very durable, well worth it!!

Lasted 2 minutes and gets an extra star for cuteness.
Four stars are more than it deserves for sturdiness, but the cuteness factor is off the charts. I purchased both the shark and bunny models of the Multipet Deedle Dudes Animal That Sings 7" dog toys. The sound box on the shark was gone within 2 hours and the bunny was shredded in less than an hour. However, the music box survived. In all fairness, I have aggressive chewers and this was purchased as a "5 minutes o' fun" type toy. It would be wonderful if they could make a version that could withstand anything more than a teacup breed or puppy bite. The product arrived clean, fast and well packaged.
