Very nice transparent post-its, perfect for making notes in books that you are borrowing or don't want to write in (hello, rented textbooks)! Be careful; gel pens don't dry very quickly. They work great with regular ballpoint pens or pencils!

I'm an English teacher and use these ALL the time for teaching annotation and allowing my students to annotate our classroom books/novels.Pro: These are great! These were awesome for lengthier annotations, details from the text and finding supporting quotes and the kids actually enjoyed using them. They stick well but a couple DID ruin a few pages - took the print right off, but that was from the "mass market" type of novels that are cheap, so just be careful with those.The clear ones are great for being able to see the text AND annotations.. some of my students really loved that.Con: Just the occasional one that took off some page printVerdict: Recommend!I pride myself on honest, helpful, accurate reviews

If you use pen it will definitely smear but theyre cute to use

Other than ballpoint pen and maybe a G2, these don't take ink well. It is like writing on wax paper or plastic. My micron eventually dried but it formed drops as I was writing on it. My fountain pen ink didn't really dry. I guess I could have left it for a few minutes. I do however, think these will work great if you run them through a laser printer.I love how they are transparent.

These are cool, but only certain inks can be used. Lead does not erase clean.

Transparent sticky notes are pretty cool, however, they can't be used with all pens. Most will smear (even sharpies tend to smear if they aren't allowed to dry long enough). I've found that ballpoint works best (most often) with these transparent sticky notes.
