Works great on my JD push mower

Installed on mid-90's John Deere walk-behind push mower - this blade fits great and mulches better than original equipment but doesn't seem to work as well with bagging (it's a mulching blade with perhaps less suction).

Did what is said it would do

It was not the predator blade advertised or ordered. It did not have the tooth design.

This is not to slam the seller or company that makes the product. I ran this blade on my John Deere JX75 and I find that it is not really worth spending money on. With a better or more powerful engine perhaps? As far as using it to set the JX75 for a mulch configuration, it just doesn't work well. Spins a little slow, it seems. It is a much heavier blade than the factory high lift blade. The cut quality I have experienced is poor and makes the blade basically unusable on the JX75 with 6.75hp Briggs engine. Leaves stragglers to the point of needing double or triple cutting. This is with a mulch setup, I will reiterate. May work okay under a bagging configuration, but there really is no point in buying a mulching blade when the stock blade does great for that.

Improvement over the john deere mulching blade

Blade appears relatively well made, but was rather dull on arrival. This blade doesn't seem to create as much lift or suction as the original style and, therefore, does not raise the grass laid down by the wheels as well.

Did not fit my Deere JA- 62.
