Best diagonal pliers!
These are the best cutting, most comfortable, longest lasting diagonal pliers available. I've tried at least one dozen other popular brands, and they are not even close. This is one of the tools you want if the apocalypse hits.

Strongest and sharpest "Dikes" you can buy.
My first pair of dikes were Craftsman and they could barely cut through anything and weren't angled. I still have that actually but it still can't cut anything so I bought Klein and never looked back. Unfortunately, my first pair got swiped and I'm pretty sure my last pair got dropped in some bushes somewhere and at least I hope some landscapers found it and it has a good home so let that be a lesson to you! Don't lose your stuff!Anyway, I've always bought the red and black handled JE dikes but this time I thought as extra punishment for losing them, I'd spend more money to get the 2000 series to match my Klein pliers with the same handle colors and get a harder metal. They cost a bunch but really, there isn't much these things can't cut. The angle also helps. Klein just knows what electricians like.

More Klein Tools J2000-48 Diagonal Cutters
These Klein 8” pliers are my everyday diagonals that I use all the time for cutting back cable sheathing, wires, removing RX staples, cutting tie wraps and probably a hundred other things they weren’t designed for. I find that the angled head makes them much easier to get deep into electrical boxes and give the extra leverage needed for pulling staples without tearing up tour knuckles. These are the Klein Journeyman 2000 series with the blue contoured grips and hardened cutters. They are really the only ones worth getting IMO, because they are so handy that you’ll start using them for all sorts of things like pulling device box nails, deburring a cut edge of metal Wiremold or cutting finish nails when removing baseboard trim, etc. so they will just get too much daily abuse that will wear out the cutters on the standard dikes in no time.

I would trade my 10 year old pair for this one in a second.
Not as good as my old ones, Lost them somewhere so now its these in the bag.

Nicer grips
Bought because I cut some live wires with the last pair. Scared some skid marks into my underwear but got the project done and some new diagonal cutters

Solid
I purchased these to replace a “standard” set i had for s couple years. Unfortunately these pliers take slot of abuse and i am certain these will stand the test of time.
