Nice rubber coated grip, but the top flair is three inches from the bottom. My medium sized hand needs 3.5 - 4 inches for comfort. Measure your hand before buying. There are larger grips out there if you have a larger hand. Get something comfortable so you will use your camera more often and shake it less. Shake is the number one cause of blur. I have a wooden Camvate brand frame with handle, cost maybe $20 more, but worth it, despite the handle needing frequent tightening.

So, this is a top handle. It's not much more than that, so to judge it, understand it is what it says it is. The build is great - a very solid metal. Grip could be better, for sure. But overall, it works. Three cold shoe's on the hilt, which is great. you can fit a mic, light, and whatever else on it easily.Only negative was that pulling out o the cold shoes is pretty tough.

First, i work for amazon FC so i know that the item i received is a previously returned item with LPN sticker on it and box is open and unsealed on both ends, parts and pieces are scattered out of the box inside the amazon shipping bag and i am missing a screw to attach the plate to the grip.. so how am i supposed to use this and i need it in 2 days for my trip… quality and craftsmanship would have been awesome but i feel cheated on this purchase

Excellent quality, but wish there was a provided option to remove 3/8 to add cold shoe adapter of sorts..

This product is very nice, good quality. Works good for my Sony a7iii. I recommend it.
