Not to heavy for a handheld.

I use magnification in a lot of my work (art) and also for looking at dates on coins because I'm simply drawn to do so. I have so many loupes and handglasses and this pup is just my favorite. I bought a second one to have upstairs because I was running downstairs to track this one down rather than use the one I had right next to me. The glass is superior in clarity. The overall product is amazingly priced around $8.00 and could easily pull down 2-3 times that without a flinch. But BE SURE you look at the product information and get the glass and METAL option rather than the plastic. It is by far the better magnifying glass.

If you want a small magnifier to fit in your purse or pocket this may be good for that purpose. I wanted a bigger glass, had to return it.

Well made item! High quality for the money. My only complaint is that the glass and metal are very heavy. Nothing wrong with that except it really needs a longer handle, due to the weight all at one end. Holding it is somewhat awkward.

Item arrived on time. Given to a friend who was having trouble with his sight. He said he could see much better using it.

I love this handheld magnifier. Its beautifully crafted, comfortable to hold and the magnifier is a wonderful size. The only thing I wish is that it would have come with a nice bag or case to store it in when not in use. Product did arrive quickly and was well packaged.
