One of the most frustrating afternoons of my life.
The precision that this tool requires makes successful connections to wires almost impossible. I ended up buying pre crimped wires and that's definitely a better idea than this tool-- that or get a much more expensive tool with more alignment aides.

Nice little package!
Came with a hefty tool that feels well made, moves smoothly and crimps the pins on nicely. It actually feels like the tools I used at work many years ago.The variety of the parts is a nice mix of everything you might need. Only thing I wish they had was some collars for the male part to insert them into the holes and hold them. It's not like I can't 3d print some though would have been nice to have them include some.all in all it was a great buy and I'm sure I'll be back when I run out of the pins!

Terminals are great, crimper is mediocre.
I really like the JST PH connectors and terminals, and this kit has plenty of them. However, the crimping tool performance is mediocre. It is difficult to crimp these terminals with the tool. Expect to crush a few and have a few crimp failures. The upper and lower jaws of the tool have some side-to-side play, so they do not align naturally - you must push it into alignment each crimp.

Crimper weakens the wire with the PH-2.0 connectors, XH-2.54 connectors seem to work.
I tried a dozen PH-2.0 connectors, they all eventually failed. I did get the XH-2.54 connectors to work. The guide on the back of the packaging shows the positions and ranges for 5 different crimping tools but not the one in the package!!!! There appears to be two positions on this tool, on the handle it says the range covered is 0.08 - 0.5. There is also suppose to be a fine adjustment but that seams to be locked in position and does not work. I was going to return but since the XH-2.54 connectors are working its probably good enough for me.

Does not come with XH pins...
Buy two separate kits if you need Jst XH and PH connectors. This one only comes with the pins for the JST-PH connectors....

It's impossible to find just 4 pin female, so have to buy a whole other kit because this one doesn't have one in it even though it' supposed to have 20

Bad product QC
The crimpers need to be filed some in the channels to accept the jst 2.5mm clip. Also, the crimpers are missing a C ring (see picture). Bad quality control.
